Thanks
Jimmy is the best commentator so far this weekend. He knows his history, he knows the sport, he knows how to ride, he knows how to train, he knows the ins and outs. Definitely a professor of eventing.
ok, I’m way late to post. But shame on USEF Network for cutting away from Fylicia’s round to ONLY show marilyn Little go. They never even showed Fyl’s finish! she’s a rookie, come on.
I was bummed too, but that is pretty normal - she was the leader coming into the XC. Looks like Fylicia had a fantastic round!!!
How do you watch a replay of the 5 star? I only got to see the first half.
They will load it later tonight, same page just scroll down
we are super proud of her!!!
Can anyone fill me in Kimmy Cecere’s round? I am from her same neck of the woods in MA and rode briefly with her mom - can’t believe she’s riding at 4* now. Looks like an elimination at 17?
Also - anyone know the breeding on Alyssa Phillips’ Oskar? Chunky boy and great ride!
I bet! She is originally from nearby to me, so I’ve always rooted for her!
Quidproquo really needed a closer look at that drop, eh? Lol.
These double corners are really catching a lot of people out. Kinda scary.
I am SUCH a Lynn fangirl, really crossing my fingers for her and Coolio to have a great day.
No one gets to this level without being a very good rider, and while it is miserable weather, there is some pretty frightening riding out there.
Jimmy noted on the commentary that he didn’t even realize while walking the course how flat and strung-out the horses would be coming downhill to those corners and how tricky it’d be to get them set up.
Elisa Wallace just had a sliding refusal into the same fence twice and then the live feed cut to someone else (a Megan?) having a stop at the water…
absolute carnage now! I think I’ve only seen 2? people complete in the last 10+ riders… that elimination list keeps getting longer and longer!
Go Lynn go!!!
@173north I love Oskar and was wondering the same thing. Alyssa’s website says Coriando X Nicole.
I am trying to find info on Coriando, but it’s not readily available.
It’s actually a town in Mongolia. He’s named after the town after his breeders’ daughter traveled there
I’m a little behind on the feed, but what a treat to watch Missy Miller and Quinn. What a ride!
