Love how they are doing the bit checks. It makes so much more sense to remove the bridle so they can see the whole bit. I hope they continue to do this post COVID/EHV.

Agreed. Plus, my horse would so much rather you take his bridle off than shove your hands into his mouth. I get that these horses are pros at this point, but they’re still so much more used to one than the other.

That was absolutely harmonious I hope the score reflects the quality. Not super fancy but such a joy to watch.

I would like, before I die, to have my horses look as happy and relaxed to be ridden in a test as her horses do. Every one of her horses seem to be this way.

She is complete #goals. From interviews I’ve heard and things I’ve read she is all about horsemanship and being kind to the horses. She clearly has a great program. Great role model for young eventers.

Is this a different dressage ring to normal? Is there a reason it’s not in the main jumping arena this year?
i am quite sure that my horse would be equally happy and relaxed if Lauren was the rider, rather than me!

I though the main arena was more enclosed maybe I haven’t noticed a lot of it is tents before
