Like I’d have gotten something closer to “Boots” if it were spelled “Butz” say - (except without the longer double “o” sound) but.

Does Butts refer to a breeder, or a sponsor, or what? It seems like a lot of the German horses tend to have sponsor prefixes before their names, but I’m not sure who or what Butts comes from.

They were saying it was for a certain German breeder earlier on the live stream, but I can’t recall who the breeder is.

Butts is pronounced less like the “oo” in boot and more like the “oo” in woof. If that helps.

That makes sense!

Yeah looking at it again I can see how he maybe could have collected up a bit more. 9/10 it probably would have been fine like that (especially based on how others rode it just like that and were fine), it just wasn’t this time. Hate it for them but glad Thomas is okay.

Not really. Literally you commented that Marilyn put in a lovely round. You said nothing about the gross amount of hardware on kitty’s face.

@Jealoushe has commented on the amount of hardware on Kitty’s face. It’s been said so many times on so many threads (by lots of posters, not just this one) that I think most of us are tired of rehashing it again and again.

Yes … From my high school German, Butts should rhyme with ‘puts’ if I’m not mistaken rather than sounding like ‘boots’

Last section is going to be a nail biter - the scores are so close, there is bound to be lots of movement up and down the scoreboard. Who will get it done and who won’t?

She did have a nice ride though. She’s way softer than before.

And thank you @initiate1987. It has been said by everyone ALL over the Internet.

I guess I was surprised by Elisas choice. But she also went earlier so was the first comment about it.

See this is another reason why I never had any ambition to compete at this level. The nerves!

People who dedicate their lives to this kind of competition, weekend after weekend, are special indeed.

Top 7 are separated by one rail! It’s pretty much anyone’s game.

On the replay, I want to see their BEST jump. Not their worst. Wish that’s what replays emphasized!

I like seeing what went wrong & why- when all the other jumps were good, what was it about this one that went awry?
