My daughter would murder me in my sleep if I sold her so I guess I will just have to keep trying for that colt! (Don’t tell my husband) Have to decide if I will breed Juliet again or Violet.
Beautiful pictures, Laurie!
Thank you! The photo shoot was for the website of our new leather business but unfortunately we didn’t have any prototype halters yet to fit Violet or Coco so only Juliet had one on. Originally it was just supposed to be Juliet in the photos. I almost wish we had waited to take these photos until they came in because it is going to bug me forever that they were in the “wrong” halters. Coco is leaving at the end of August for her new home so it may not have been an option to wait anyway. We are about to have a weanling!
Maybe you can photo shop the halters on to the pictures you want them in.
No it’s ok, we have non pro pictures taken of Juliet in all the different models, they just aren’t spectacular like these. It’s probably a good thing though as these photos are so beautiful you don’t really notice the halters. We are putting the finishing touches on the website now, I am
excited!
Hope it all goes well. Let us know how Violet is doing.
Thank you Coco!!!
No idea if I am doing this right since this is my first time on the new forum but wanted to share our news! Baby Violet went to two horse shows this weekend and behaved like a seasoned veteran! She was not clipped or braided so didn’t really look show ready but she was clean and her coat was beautiful. I wanted to get her out and about before she was a yearling in a couple of months and had to wear a bridle and trot so mission accomplished. She was wonderfully behaved both days and handled the hour plus trailer ride like it was no big deal. Hoping we get a chance to show at the big shows next year! Please everyone, wear your mask.
Holy moly, I didn’t realize that you were Olivia’s mom! I follow her on Instagram and absolutely love Juliet and Violet! You’ve bred such lovely horses; I can’t wait to see how baby Violet comes along! Congratulations on your first show with her!
She’s adorable and I love watching the videos on FB. Her first bath was so cute.
I am Olivia’s Mom, Juliet’s Mom and Violet’s Mom depending upon who you talk to! Glad you like following her account, we definitely like sharing our love of our horses with everyone.
Look at me figuring out how to add pictures! When they asked Olivia on Saturday if I wanted coffee or beer she said neither because I don’t drink either. My husband was miffed when he heard that hence the picture of Violet posing with her beer first prize!
@Laurierace I love the soft, curious expression in Violet’s face in halter at her first show!
Glad to see you here!!
She has such a lovely expression!
She’s getting her fuzzy coat. I love it.
She has been fuzzy for weeks! We are definitely going to have to clip her in the spring assuming the shows happen
Hot, can be difficult, talented horses for dressage. Sir Donnerhall and Sir Donnerhall 2 have better reputations in terms of temperament, but none of these are known for throwing for jumping, that I know of.
Thanks. My foal is already here but maybe that info will help someone else.
They grow up so fast, don’t they? Looks like she’s going to mature into a very pretty mare and a lovely mover.
