We took Violet to the Future Event Horse competition today. I had never even seen one before let alone participated so I hired a handler. It took over an hour longer than it should have to get there so we pretty much took her off the trailer and brushed her off quickly and it was time to go in the ring. I think she would have done a bit better if she had some time to settle and look around but she still did well. She won her class and her score was high enough that she qualified for the championship in the fall! Very proud of my girls.

Definitely hit this one out of the park I think! Next we have to decide if we breed Juliet again since she made such a nice foal or breed Violet since she seems like she is even better than her dam. We have some time to decide.
