Excited to see Cooley Quicksilver go around! He’s had a great prep this spring. And Chin Tonic - I think it’s his first 5*? Looks like a good line up with some heavy hitters (rider wise). Should be fun to watch!
He’s actually entered in the 4* not the 5*, the link in the first post has both lists! But agreed, both will be fun to watch!
Big opportunity for Liz & Lauren here, in my opinion. The 5* field doesn’t have many that jump out as major favorites. Cooley Quicksilver is a really interesting horse to me. I go back & forth on his stamina/speed, but he has such an economical jump & looks incredibly supple. I remember seeing a video she posted of him throwing some antics in turnout & he looks like he’s made of rubber bands.
Interested to see Felix Vogg & Colero back out. Always admired that horse when they were based in the states.
Of course I’d still expect Oli, Tom, & Tim well up there, even on their B (maybe even C) team of horses.
Not to mention Jonelle Price and Faerie Dianimo who won there in 2018.
Ahh I totally missed that! Didn’t scroll over. Exciting that he’s getting the exposure. He had a bummer of a Kentucky with a couple of runouts.
What’s the course level of difficulty at Luhmuhlen? I always assumed it was one of the “softer” 5*s, but mostly because we rarely have a huge contingent there.
And Ros Canter.
I’m so excited for BUG. Rooting for him to take the win
Will Coleman with a 28.2
BUG with the 26.7!!! BUGS YEAR!!!
Check out the 4* leader !
Pretty amazing!
Go Will! Woohooooo!
And Lauren too!
Liz is also in 5th in the 5* with a 29.1. Looks like Lauren and Bug are retaining their 2nd place going into xc tomorrow!
I just came here to say how about an American-bred Anglo Arab scoring a 26.7 in dressage in Germany?!?
XC time took them down a bit.
I am having trouble following the scoring. Have they done the 4star or the 5 star? Is Bug running the 4 or 5? Where is Chin Tonic? Cannot follow clearly on EN which usually does a great job of thus stuff.
If you go to the official Luhmuhlen webpage, there is an English version and the live scoring comes up on a spreadsheet-like thingy. Nicholson is 7th, Haliday-Sharp is 10th, Flynn is 20th in 5*. Coleman & Chin Tonic is about 11th in the 4*S. His other horse was withdrawn before XC.
