Is it me or is there way too much forward motion in the turn on the haunch
Ugh. I think the second round gave us a clear top 5, but it wasn’t the top 5 we saw. And then that final round just felt muddy.

That last test just muddied the waters. Ellie got robbed, I like Gussie best. But I’m guessing they pin….

My predicted order is Luke, Gussie, Isabella, Tessa, Carlee.
It is not my preferred order.

It’s Augusta or Luke for me.
“It’s always been about horsemanship here” rings a little hollow to me when there were multiple horses in this class that were obviously lame at the trot.

Watching the tests might not have helped you that much. Lol.
I only registered just to add my thoughts on this. I watched all 2nd round trips. They were excellent across the board, though some better than others and some bobbles. By and large, very good.
I’ve never been so…surprised (to use a non-explicit word) to not see Ellie in that test. We can quibble about some…Luke did not need to be called back for the test…his round was not as strong by far…maybe some others in the test group higher than I would have picked…but that happens. Judges have a different angle.
Despite quibbling on some of them, I have serious, deep concerns about Ellie not being in that test.
We need eq judging reform a la gymnastics and ice skating. Until that happens, things like tonight will continue to happen.
