oh my god Iām saving this to put in my defense slides IMMEDIATELY
My defense slides right now are an interesting mix of Big Science and memes
Happy to help
Ellie was 6th. So, while I canāt find anything that says you canāt test 2-6, nobody was being that sensible according to the trips I saw with my eyes.
well now Iām even madder than I was before
demand judging reform NOW
The only hope we have for eq.
Iām serious. Letās start with open scoring for each round. Make judges own the decisions they make, so they are called out when they are up to ridiculous things.
(and no, I have no stake in this ā donāt know any of the kids involved)
This was egregiousā¦
Tessaās got another year, sheāll be dangerous.
You not watching was not the solution.
10th: Kate Egan
9th: Alexander Alston
8th: Stella Wasserman
7th: Addison Reed
6th: Ellie Aronson
5th: Isabella David
4th: Carlee McCutcheon
3rd: Tessa Downey
2nd: Luke Jensen
1st: Augusta Iwasaki
At least Gussie won! Ellie was robbed and I still want to know what happened that they moved her down to 6th.
Thank jeebus!
Iām glad Alex got a ribbon even if I wasnāt enamored with his round. I always feel sad for the kids in their last year who are working with a horse that has been really tricky and theyāve managed to figure out and are showing them for likely the last time.
What a season, and what a junior career for Augusta.
Gus won 3 finals this year on 3 different horses. Very impressive.
Yay Gussie!!! Okay, I feel like my nearly 13 hours on the couch today was worthwhile
This is how I actually would have placed the test (vs my predicted order above) so I am pleased with that, at least.
Well, if none of them can actually do the test, at least they got the best rider on top.
Congratulations to the winner.
Alright, peace out 'til next year, yaāll. Does Ellie have another year? Hopefully sheāll get some justice.
Just checked - yes, she rides as a 16 yo.
