Mare-sharing--free broodmare leases!

Broodmare for 2014 season

I will be looking for either a warmblood, QH, or TB mare for next season. I will be looking into breeding to a German Riding pony so a mare of about 16 HH would be the ideal.

16.2hh, RPSI branded, Main Mare Book 1 approved for breeding lease 2014 season

Introducing Red River Meadow, offered for free breeding lease for the 2014 breeding season. Located in Clinton MD, willing to let her go w/in a 4 hr radius & can deliver.

Meadow is a 2009, 16.2hh, branded & pedigreed RPSI mare, approved for Main Book 1. At inspection, judge commented on her nice build, feminine head, swinging walk, & ground-covering trot.

She is sadly being offered for free breeding lease & possibly sale (to the right home) at this time due to an injury. We believe a pasture accident has caused soft-tissue injury to her loin / glute muscles. Currently moves sound, but palpates sore. Has been on 4 months of rest + chiro visits but pain issues have not completely resolved. Happy to share all records. Vet believes all she needs is more rest & will be performance sound, so I’d love to give her the year off to be a Mommy & go from there…

Before injury, she had been slowly started as a 3-yr-old, had the winter off, and spent the Spring hacking out for exposure & practicing for her first Intro Level Dressage show. Very sensible filly, did great out on trails, would be an upper level Eventing prospect if completely sound! Though registered as & can be shown as a Zweibrucker, she has 100% TB blood with predominantly jumper lines (by Meadow Monster, out of River Zuppardo). However, she has the movement to excel in any sporthorse discipline or produce babies in any sporthorse discipline! Great deal for the right breeder!

JC reg/Oldenburg apprvd 17hh bay TB mare

Recent unresolvable lameness diagnosis (due to injury) prompts me to find free lease/giveaway options for mare. I am not into breeding and unfamiliar with her bloodlines for the most part but she is by an Affirmed bred stallion and out of a Smarten mare. She’s 11 yo, 17hh bay mare, good mover, super easy keeper with really good feet. Oldenburg approved - I wasn’t interested in breeding her so I’ve got to dig up that paperwork…apparently there are a couple of different statuses related to that. Mare has had one foal (prior to my owning) - I understood she was easy in every regard.

Mare is easy to handle; clips, ties, loads, etc. Hate to see her go but can’t have another critter on the dole. PM me for more info, etc.

Looking to Lease a Mare

I have a breeding to Lemony’s NIcket that I did not get to use this year due to my mare having colic surgery. I no longer want to breed her due to this so am looking to possibly lease a mare. What I am looking for:

AHS approved mare, ideally proven dam.
Mare that have been MPT with good gait scores, ideally EM/ EMC
I am ideally looking for a mare with Hohenstein blood, F-line, D-line or R-line.

IF you know of anything please email me at ljweiser@yahoo.com

Unregistered TB mare by Mokhieba in Virginia

Khieba is a 14 year old, 15.3 chestnut mare with lots of white and a wonderful temperment. She has evented up to the Training level and had the ability to go farther but was sidelined with an injury. I have 2 beautiful foals out of her (one by Farnely Magic Word and another by Ardceltic Art) and do not plan to breed her again. However, she makes such nice babies that I will make her available for a free lease to an exceptional home/breeding program. PM me for pictures of Khieba and foals if interested. Thank you!

Two top hanoverian mares for lease

Due to personal circumstances I have decided to offer two of my mares for lease.
Only payment that occurs is to pay keeping them at the place they are at for 1 year. I would consider a move to another place, but only if I feel confident. Scenario/details to be discussed privately.

  1. SPS Florencio - SPS Prince Thatch xx- SPS Lysander had super offspring sofar by Benetton Dream (3) and Demirel.
  2. Sandro Hit - SPS Rouletto - Prince Thatch xx had also super offspring sofar by Romanov, Londontime, Farewell III and Benetton Dream (Video of current foal to be seen in signature).

Both should also be eligible for Oldenburg and other registries, I would offer to have them approved by another registry if this is wanted.

Both mares are located in Germany at a very professional breeding farm. Recommendations can be given for both: the farm and myself.

More information and pictures available via PM (my homepages are a bit outdated, but there is also info on the mares).

Hello - I tried to PM, but your inbox is full. Does this mare still have her Jockey Club papers & if so, can you post her registered name? Thanks

Two mares available for free lease WV

1995 bay 16H ISR approved mare Freya.

Freya is sired by the GP Hanoverian stallion Flugzauber out of Starting Over (TB) by Ground Breaker. She is a modern mare w/exceptional trot elasticity. She has some arthritis changes in hocks and is no longer sound for riding. Produce record ~ 2005: Bacardi (chestnut ISR g by Baladin dOc). 2006: Brocade (dark bay ISR m by Baladin dOc) 2009: Winchester (bay ISR g by Wild Dance). 2010 Freya II (bay ISR m by Baladin dOc). Open & ready to breed, clean culture - still has many years of producing quality foals.

1998 chestnut 14.2H grade Quarter Horse/Pony mare Sweetheart.

Sweetie is currently sound for trail riding and light ring work, but has a left stifle hind limp so heavy riding work or jumping she cannot do. She is broke to ride and can be considered beginner safe both on the ground and in the saddle, but is rusty with the go-forward aid and needs a refresher to those leg/voice commands (so best for advanced beginners). Has only been ridden at walk and trot, have not tried her canter (and due to the limp may not be possible for her). Sweetie is a grade/non-registered mare, but has had foals with previous owners. Would be excellent as a collection mare for a stallion farm, surrogate, or produce her own foals.

Free lease available off or on farm for either mare.

Kali’s Sunshine - 16.2H 2001 Chestnut JC mare. Has schooled up to 3’. Forward and athletic mare, best suited for eventing or jumpers. Sound, no vices. Needs coggins, current on vaccs. She has had a few tb foals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k1KMl6pwyK8

Illicit Encounter- 16/16.1H 2001 Grey tb mare, no papers but ID’ed by her tattoo. Works well under saddle. Was used for lessons with intermediate/advanced students. Really loves to jump. Not for beginners. Sound, clean legs, light cribber. Needs coggins, current on vaccs. Has been bred to warmbloods in the past.

Kiss My Devil -16H chestnut JC mare. Broodmare sound only. She has stringhalt from an old injury. She is a cribber. Has thrown nice hunter foals, some shown at Devon. Has foal at side but will be ready to go soon. Current coggins and vaccs.

Looking for an Approved Warmblood mare

Decided to start putting some feelers out there for spring 2014. We are looking for an approved warmblood mare to lease next year to breed to one of our pony stallions. Good temperament, conformation and movement a must. Would prefer a black mare, no taller than 16.2 HH, but obviously willing to look at all options offered to us. Looking for a mare with a show record and no local, Alberta bloodlines. As we sell hunter/jumpers and dressage ponies, we are looking for a mare that falls under either category. Excellent care, references available and can send mare back in foal when lease is up. Would be willing to present mare to ISR/Oldenburg, Oldenburg GOV or RPSI in 2014. Would love to have the mare up here by the end of April. Our facility can be seen at www.daventryequestrian.com Please message me directly, or contact me off of our website, as I do not frequent this thread very often. Thanks

I have 16.1 black ATA registered mare. 16yo. Looking for off property lease. Currently located in FL but needs to go further north.

Lovely bloodlines. Wonderful temperament. Proven broodmare. Contact me for more information. Thanks!

16.2 registered TB mare. Age 18. Chestnut. Available on care lease in Washington state. Hard keeper, produces super TB sporthorse babies and would likely cross well with a warmblood or pony stud. Please post here if interested. Thank you!

16.3 registered TB mare - approved BWP - 99 Age 14. Bay with white blaze and one white sock. I am looking for a forever home for my mare the original home fell thru - she is a very nice built and moving mare. Done both hunters and dressage. She recently got a pasture injury at the farm that took her but should be fine but they are losing their farm. Only interested in forever home. Please PM me for more info - located in WI. Waterdance is her registered name to look up her bloodlines. Thanks.

Looking for a broodmare for the 2014 season, either a mare who can stay on with me permenantly or, be leased out for the breeding season. Ideally free lease.

I live in Ontario so something within that distance or a reasonable trailer ride home is ideal, I have driven up to 12 hrs to go personally pick up a mare, and would do the same for the right horse.

Criteria: under 16 yrs, younger is better. 16.2 hh plus, preference given to grey, but definitely not a deal breaker. Dark bay/bay. registered, good conformation. Does NOT need to be sound, as long as she is pasture sound, should be able to live out. Prefer warmblood decent jumper/dressage/event type background, clean culture/biopsy. Basically I’m just fishing to see whats out there I’m in ZERO rush, and won’t be heart broken if I don’t find her by next season. Please email me though as I don’t come on here too often. I am willing to provide references or answer any questions. I promise to provide a good home with lots of turnout, well bedded shelters, 24/7 hay, as much grain as needed, well blanketed in the winter months. Email - andreavolasko@hotmail.com for more information on me feel free to check out my site at www.janakofarms.com there are a bunch of references on there as well if you look under the training section. Thank you

Also starting to look for two broodmares to lease (or free to good, forever home scenario) for the spring of 2014. Located in Ontario, but willing to travel within reasonable distance. Looking for :

  1. BIG large pony or hony. Nothing bigger than 15.2. TB, warmblood, pony crosses. Must be hunter type - movement, jump and a good brain. Colour or lots of white is a bonus. Can be returned in foal. The mare will be bred to my 14hh BRP/welsh stallion. The foal will show on the line and eventually in the hunter ring. Only has to be pasture sound and able to carry a foal. Does not have to be registered. If pedigree is unknown, please include video footage of her moving or a previous show record.

  2. Small, registered section B (or hunter type A) mare. Looking for a lease only on this one. Will be bred to my coming 2 year old colt before he is gelded to start his life as a hunter pony. Fancy mover and good brain. Prefer something with colour, but definitely not a deal breaker. Foal MUST be able to be registered full welsh. Mare can be returned in foal to any of our resident stallions.

Please send photos, pedigree, location and any other info to info@crownridgefarms.com. Thank you in advance for your time.

For Free lease or permanent home:
1994 Jockey Club registered TB mare Titania
15.2h black with diagonal socks and unique blaze.
http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/titania37
Titania has been the perfect broodmare, easy to get in foal never an issue foaling and her offspring are fantastic! Not to mention after witnessing my other mares parenting technique she has been dubbed the queen
I have a small farm and she does not enjoy being in a small area so am looking for someone with lots of room for her to roam  I am open to either the lease or rehome. We are located in N. Cal I do believe she has several more babies left in her. She is very fit and does not act like a 19 yr old
pics are of her and her last 2 babies,2011 filly by Aloha and 2004 filly out of Smoke Trees Kismet. she had a Paint baby while out on lease prior to 2011. Was in foal 2012 but had twins and when pinched he got both :frowning:
