Funny tangent.
I stumbled across John Mellencamp and his daughter Teddi on a talk show the other day, and at some point, she gave a list of her favorite songs by her dad. And she rattled off several titles, and her dad looked at her and said something like, “You know, I have put out some music in the last 30 years as well.” That was hilarious.
I totally remember her showing as a junior, and her dad being there to watch her at the National Horse Show back when it was still at the Garden.
