I’ve been struggling to keep up (again) and was rather confused about the sudden focus on MB’s residency status. And then I saw that one of our contrarians posted this:

…his farm in Florida would be protected from being sold to satisfy a judgement if he is a Florida resident, but not if he is a NJ resident.

And it suddenly became clear why it has suddenly become such a big deal. The hyenas are hoping to prove to the NJ court that MB is not a legal Florida resident and that his FL property is therefore not immune from seizure to satisfy a judgement.

That smells of fear to me. Are they worried that the walls are closing in on them and that some sort of resolution is perhaps in the making? A resolution that will protect MB from having his Florida farm seized or from having to fire sale it? (And I can easily imagine that a certain neighbor would be waiting to snap it up for pennies on the dollar - no wonder she wanted to buy a house just down the road from it!).

If true that would suggest the possibility that they were sent here on mission in order to achieve a goal which doesn’t benefit THEM but rather whomever sent them.

LOL - but it seems that a couple of posters here have a penchant for sort of telegraphing the K’s intentions about various things. So my antenna go up when they suddenly pounce on a new tangent.

I mean, that’s plausible. They want all they can get.

I don’t think they’ll get as much as they anticipate and a lot will come out that reflects poorly on them, but they’re too arrogant to care.

I feel as though they won’t stop until, well, they finish the Bastard.

I’m fine with people rightfully getting appropriate compensation, but greed can cloud ones judgment.

ekat, did you notice anything different with the updated document posted today? I didn’t but I’m certainly no expert.

I’ve not seen anything noticeable yet. It’s for sure nothing substantive. So, now I’m looking for typos.

It would be so much easier if they put the changes in red!

Honestly, that’s how I had to find it! The proposed version, the changes were in red. So, when these two versions were seeming the same, I went back to the red version!!

Honestly, that’s how I had to find it! The proposed version, the changes were in red. So, when these two versions were seeming the same, I went back to the red version!!

Horse related tangent.

When my mother showed a million years ago, the then-AHSA rulebook would come out each year with nothing to indicate which rules had been changed from the previous year. So if you wanted to find out, you had to do a line by line comparison.

My grandfather was the one who pointed out to the powers that be that it would be a huge improvement to indicate rule changes so that they would be easier to find from one year to the next, and they have done it ever since.
