MB CIVIL SUIT UPDATE #10 K’s Request to Adjourn (delay) DENIED 11/01/22

I don’t think he is riding off someone else’s experience. I think there was a solid reason why Bilinkas brought up RG being a Marine in the criminal trial, whether that be as a recruit or an actual Marine.

But yes, choke holds can be taught. Breaking limbs can be taught. But it needs to be taught and practiced repeatedly so that one can actually do the maneuvers under stress with speed and effectiveness, especially against someone that is much larger than you. A relative can show you a maneuver but Marines practice hand to hand skills over and over against each and earn martial arts belts. People taking a karate class, for example, won’t usually be as effective because of the lack of repetition. Marines do things over and over so it’s second nature. That’s what makes them so effective. MCMAP is a constant part of their training as well.

I think it would also be different if RG did other maneuvers but these are classic MCMAP skills.

I remember reading that and thought it was so pretentious and ill informed. I’ve known a lot of Marines but I’ve never known any to shame someone for saying Semper Fi. Marines are proud but most aren’t straight obnoxious a-holes like LK came across by saying that.

And yet, those posters will continue their wrongness at the top of their voice over and over and over and over!

What?!? This makes precisely zero sense.

ETA: :joy::joy::joy::joy:

Edited again to add: How on earth is this a comeback to me saying you missed the other poster’s point? I am so genuinely confused…

I am surprised his military duty, if real, doesn’t show up on background checks. Hmmmm…

Ok we can do this math……

MB goes into the office and kicks out all occupiers—30 seconds?
Opens the safe and grabs the gun, removes the safety clip replaces it with the used clip (2-3 rounds) grabs the second clip—pockets both—60 seconds?
Walks to his truck—depending on wether he had to turn it around—90 seconds?
Drives to the house 1/4 mile @40 MPH—generously, 4 min?

We are now at 7 mins. If you add on the additional 7 mins she was beating him, well that’s close to 15 minutes.

The problem is we are missing a few pieces of information here……sigh.

So true! Marines are crazy proud about appearance, HONOR, loyalty, the Code! RG exhibits none of that. Plus if you watch him walk, he does not have the stance and stature of a Marine. I simply find it hard to believe.

What if it’s: opens safe, discover gun is missing, looks around for gun, panics, finds truck keys…

But yes, a few key things are missing.

We know that RG had a camera clip that was 23 minutes before Officer Heymer arrived on scene. Allegedly, that’s when he (RG) turned off the camera.

So, I’m curious how close to MB’s arrival was the alleged camera turning off.

Normally a bunch of cases are set for the same time so the case that goes first might be at 9:30 (most judges don’t do 9) but the last of that group at 1:30 (as an example)

Nor does his posture while sitting on the witness stand.

Well, it would take a FIOA request to show up and even then the service member has to provide personal information to attain it. Won’t show up on all background checks.

But could also indicate he was kicked out of boot camp.

Maybe very close if they heard MB leaving the office on their bugging equipment.

If, in fact, the camera was actually turned off.

I agree that you can usually pick them out of a crowd. My hubs was a CID agent in the USMC for many years and he did come across some dirt bags but they were booted when they got on CID’s radar. I have met a few Marines that were nerdy types or just not the stereotypical Marine look, too though. I know that contradicts with what I was saying about commissioned officers but COs go through so much more education and training to make them that stereotypical Marine type. I don’t know what you would call RG’s “type” but he fits in well with a lot of the Marines that were criminally discharged through CID.

Bingo. And, “It’s all on tape” to Heymer before he had a chance to realize how bad the plan had gone. Panic time. Then, “Can I put my dog in the house?” and disappeared into the house per Heymer’s hearing testimony.

Did Heymer change his testimony between the hearing and the criminal trial? Or was it a different cop who said RG didn’t actually go into the house?

And then Officer John Wurtenberg testified that he kept RG in sight the entire time, RG did not go into the house, just leaned in and put Rosie inside the door.

Yes, he did.

Heymer’s testimony changed between the hearing and the trial and didn’t line up with the 2nd cop on the scene (hearing vs trial).

Another important question…is that clip actually in evidence in order to know it has nothing of relevance on it, or just the notification? Maybe RG turned it off because there was a reason as to why they were going in and out of the house….

RG’s cloths were mysteriously clean were they not? Maybe all those notification he was complaining about came after the beating….

Yes, that has always bothered me. He was clean. No blood at all anywhere except his hands.

Michael had his shirt torn off and was left a bloody pulp.

LK’s Hoodie was clean except for two small holes.

Very strange.

Thank goodness for forensics!
