Was this episode based on Barney Ward?
Per my (edit) memory of transcript of the 911 call RG states he’s (MB)moving/starting to move and he needs to put the phone down to hold him… He loudly threatens to render MB unconscious a second time, and threatens to break his arm. MB does suffer a broken arm.
Yes.
The murder of Helen Brach was linked to the killing for insurance money of show horses, which Ward was involved in.

I will have to track this episode down and watch.
Have you read the book?

So, why not remove the gun from MB while he was unconscious and your yelling at LK to put up the dog?
Can someone refresh my memory on why Taylor would not allow testimony regarding the recordings? Was it because they were not proven to be in existence, or not proven to be valid (accurate), or because they could be deemed prejudicial against LK?
Good question.
Maybe it was planted there while he was unconscious??

Good question.
Added above…but this is especially weird since he was yelling at LK to put up the dog at the same time….

They never said during the trial other than it was subject to a pretrial ruling.
We know that 81 of them exist.
If I were going to bet, I would bet that they were inadmissible because of how they were recorded in NJ, especially in light of Mr Deininger’s amended claim from yesterday.

Good question.

What a frigging profound question!!! Maybe because MB didn’t have the dang gun!!!

Because daddy told him not to. /s

It can pick up conversations you can’t hear yourself? I’m impressed if technology has improved to that level for personal type recorders.
I’m not sure I never tried that with it.
I still find it interesting that Jonathan Kanarek is OK paying the way for someone to hang around his daughter that has such an extensive history abusing women. Just weird, very weird.
I still find it… odd… that both LK and RG felt the need to identify MB by first and last name to the 911 operator under the circumstances. Why?
Did they think he was about to leap up and jump in his truck and drive away, and the cops would need to track him down by his license plate? After he regained consciousness, that is?
All part of the plan.

And that they couldn’t identify him by name then, after cops arrived?
Much of what they both state is…
It is very interesting that in real time RG said there were 3-4 shots fired….and then the comment about how RC’s gun wasn’t as loud as LK’s….
And that he wasn’t “touching” the gun…
