The bench in the pictures shown is around the corner from LK’s locker, which was pointed out in a previous picture, in the hallway to the the office and lounge.
Maybe a person could carry one of the fancy hear thru walls recording devices that one of the other posters here mentioned they have, and the one does not need to go into the courtroom to hear what is going on.
I went to an open house the other day that had a sign that cameras and audio were recording. I don’t know if it was for security or feedback. Either way, someone probably heard that I hated the plasticy faux marble sink/counter in the bathrooms and the carpet was ugly.
Exactly, that’s why you have to check local rules, and I’d also recommend contacting the court before you head down to see if there is any reason why you can’t attend. Even if the admin says, the parties could request the court hear things in closed session if they have grounds for their motion.
Recording is a whole nother issues on top of that.
