Yeah, annoying to say the least.

Even in spaces like a mall, or store, or bank, you will see signs that the area is under video surveillance, and they typically avoid recording conversations in states that are one or more party states.

Yes as long as you turn it off if you leave the room and don’t record in areas where a person can expect privacy (like a bathroom or dressing room.)

There are different laws for each state, but in general you can post that you’re recording and as long as not recording in a restroom, dressing room etc… that’s usually legal.

Sorry, I don’t know why I said DA. I meant the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. When MB called 911, after the first or second call, the POs contacted the Prosecutor’s Office. I was saying that when police were called via 911, the police did not necessarily know the recordings were illegal. They were told by RG and LK that they existed, but without searching the property they didn’t have anything that would conflict with their statements. So when police contacted the prosecutor’s office, they likely assumed the recordings were legal because it hadn’t been proven otherwise. The suit was dropped against Morris County PD because it seemed like a civil issue and the police could not accurately assess MB’s mental state (which is what was specifically mentioned in the suit against the PD by MB attorneys stating they should have known and intervened).

Colbert lives in NJ. One of the partners I worked with at my NY firm is his neighbour. Said he was a great guy and a good neighbour FWIW.

Seems there is another person there who was told to out the dog in.

That part has never made sense to me. He tells the 911 operator that Lauren is dying, but at the same time he’s telling Lauren to put the dog in the house?

As we know she was shot and quite likely appeared to be dying, who was he talking to?

I think he was talking to Lauren. I don’t think she really passed out until he said “baby?” Towards the end of the call.

Also, the odd details. When people are lying, they insert specific details to make them seem more credible. Like AH with the color of the carpet. LK inserted quite a few such instances into her testimony as well….

I keep thinking back to that tweet I screenshot that tells who was there and what happened.

(Will share by PM just ask)

Yes, but if that was true wouldn’t his voice be heard on the 911 call? Would a father leave his child knowing she was shot? Conveniently Michael remembers nothing after leaving the barn. Nothing would surprise me after all we’ve learned over the past 3+ years.

Thinking of that length of time, try to put into perspective how much income Michael has lost! If only the spoiled adult child had left rather than Finish the Bastard.

Well, there was the weird 911 call. Does anyone know what the timestamp on that was?

If someone else was there, wouldn’t the lawyer who was on the phone, ED I think it was… Be aware of that?
