Did Schellhorn want to use them but was shot down by Taylor during evidentiary hearings?
Regarding the barn layout - the attached is my attempt to draw that part of it in Visio. I know I didn’t get in the correct number of stalls or lockers on those aisles, and am also sure that I have the dimensions wrong, and maybe the actual location of RC’s stall and LK"s locker, but this is my sense of the layout based on the photos and various testimony.
Also - RC testified that she didn’t know where LK’s locker was. I thought I remembered something from either LK’s or RG’s testimony that it was located as depicted in my drawing. If that is the case and it was that close to RC’s stall, I am surprised that RC didn’t know where it was - although I guess it is possible that she was never there when they were using the locker.
And if LK’s locker was where I depicted it, I cannot imagine how a recording device in her locker could have picked up a conversation from someone sitting on that bench, unless the barn was dead quiet otherwise and the person was speaking very loudly.

I think your missing MB’s office, which I’m sure was the white door beside the stairs going to the clubhouse (or was it room??). Otherwise I’d say you’re pretty much on the mark from what I recall.
One sidebar, looking at the pictures of the real estate ad, won’t show you where any possible benches were in the aisle if they were moved when the barn was cleared out.
I had the impression the office was inside the clubhouse/lounge, at the far end of it from the white door into the barn.

I thought that also. The white door at the steps led into the clubhouse/lounge, and then you accessed MB’s office from within the lounge.

MBs office is inside the clubhouse door then across the width of the clubhouse to the other side. Behind the pool table in the pic above

Also, I was using both the photos from the RE ad, and the photos admitted into evidence in the criminal trial. I don’t remember any photos from the trial that showed other benches.

I thought when you went through that door at the steps, you would be in the kitchen area of the clubhouse.

I think MB’s office is more here where the red dot is. And there’s no chance a recorder in one of those lockers would pick up a conversation there.
Yes, to those pictures. That is my understanding as well.
I did kind of scribble a little on your nice drawing though. And, I had to watch portions of MHG, JH, and RC testimony, and watch MB walk through the barn with Stephen Colbert. You can really see the stalls, wash stall, and the hugeness, along with the walkway that kind of splits the barn in half in that show. In one of the pics where MB is walking with Colbert towards the indoor arena, you can see the light of the walkway behind them. Which makes me really, really doubt one little recorder, in a helmet, in a locker picked up conversations all over all of that area well enough you could understand anything.

I’m definitely willing to admit I’m wrong on where the office was, and equally willing to admit I’m not willing to sit through testimony of the trial as to the location of the office.
