MB CIVIL SUIT UPDATE #10 K’s Request to Adjourn (delay) DENIED 11/01/22

Yes, I think you’re right about the allergy in the Dick Francis plot line.

I read all those books, many of them multiple times. The only one I really disliked had a plot line that involved manipulating a breeding stallion’s value by messing around with his offspring. That was too much for me.

Sidebar: Mary Francis did indeed have polio, and did 100% of the research for his somewhat gimmicky although compelling mysteries.

The remarks also demonstrate a clear lack of understanding of what/how being depressed and tormented can manifest in a person’s appearance and personal caretaking.

It’s sad actually, that Taylor exposed his complete lack of understanding of mental illness.
Or his bias.
Neither reflect well on him.

I concur.

I wonder if there will be any professional repercussions for him.

Also jurors are not stupid, or crazy or unobservant. The viewing audience only saw what the cameras showed at any given time. The jurors could watch anything they wanted as long as they wanted to.
And i think we saw with witnesses in this trial how hard it is to keep up an act every moment for days on end when a bunch of people have a job to do that involves looking at you

OT I know but I am still floored that he addressed Dr. Cox repeatedly as “Hon.” That’s one step up from addressing Black defendant as “boy.” Dude is out of it.

Only if the Judicial Committee decides to take any action.

Many companies will least cost ingredients and bakery products fall into an ingredient category. If there is a large commercial bakery in the area, it is a win/ win for both companies.

Another little tidbit- chocolate is great for fitting cattle for shows. It puts weight on them very nicely, and gives them a coat that shines like a mirror finish. Because they are judged on fitting and conformation, the caffeine in the chocolate doesn’t matter. I lived very close to Hershey, PA, and know many 4-H kids that used bulk chocolate to fit their 4-H projects.

It was…and yeah, didn’t like the plotline of that one very much when it came to harming the offspring of the stallion. Or the daughter.

Or was he parroting something that was expressed in a communication he received from someone…

Not sure I agree with that. Dr. Cox is a southern lady - and many of us are well used to being addressed as “Hon,” and take no offense at it.

I’m southern as well. And old. I guess I am an anomaly, I don’t like to be called “Hon” or “sweetie” by someone I don’t know or am not friends with or some arbitrary man. I do embrace “Bless your Heart”.

In a court setting, I think it is very unprofessional for a judge to call a witness “Hon”. And to say it’s good seeing you again, which Taylor did in the criminal trial.

Shows disrespect to me.

meh, whatever.

At Christmas time I make alchoholic truffles (Bailey’s, Kahlua, Chambourd, etc.). According to friends, my kitchen is a very dangerous, but tastey, place to visit!
