I like sweet tarts too.

I’ll admit to a fondness too, though it’s been years since I’ve seen any around here. Guess it never really caught on in this neck of Canada.

My son is still young enough for us to separate out all the “adult only” candy for us, I mean, safety.

Remember the RadioShack flashlights? We have the alligator where the tail circles around and it fits PERFECTLY through a dog collar. The kids dressed up, he wore his flashlight and went as a Guide Dog.

He got SO MUCH CANDY that I…I mean WE… had to assist him and sort for his safety. Plus dog biscuits which were doled out. He was a big Chessie/Golden mutt and when in shape, tipped the scales at 95 pounds. I think 10 pounds was his double coat. Sure seemed like it when vacuuming.

I am not a professional vacuumer. No pretty patterns. Just chasing down fur bunnies.

Omg I should have dressed as a barefoot ninja wearing a veil at work today!

Dress like that tomorrow, they won’t be expecting it.

Look at Vermont Country Store, Click on Candy, and then Candy again, to see all of them. They have Root Beer Barrels, and a lot of old fashioned candy.

Bottle cap candies switched manufacturers, and they’re on Amazon, and probably a lot of other places sell them too.

“Bottle Caps candy was originally introduced by Breaker Confections in 1972. **They are currently sold by the Ferrara Candy Company”

Coincidentally, I am watching the classic first Halloween episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and they just showed the scene where somebody gave the little kids toothbrushes instead of candy.

That is a very fun store if you get a chance to go in person. Man, do they have a lot of different stuff!

My opinion is, ‘If it ain’t chocolate, it ain’t candy’, although I do have a soft spot for candy corn and those mellowcreme pumpkins.

Snickers is always a delight, and any chocolate from Aldi is delicious, especially the coffee and white chocolate bar. Ooh, and the chocolate with the strawberry crunch filling. :yum:

Also try Mast General Store in Valle Cruise NC. They might ship. Lots and lots of old fashioned candy.

Wax coke bottles anyone?

As usual, bought too much candy. Whatever shall I do with it?

Maybe I shouldn’t buy the kinds I like?

I just stumbled across it recently on one of my cable channels after not seeing it for a million years. It’s still pretty darn entertaining, I must say.
