Has anyone found if there is a way to watch the Zoom hearing? I won’t be watching if there is, but it would be interesting to have one of our legal people’s opinion of the proceedings.

I agree, I would like to hear their feedback. I’m very curious about how Mr. Silver and Mr. Nagel do in their oral arguments. I am betting that if he does speak, Mr. Silver is very good.

I’m interested in how Kanareck’s attorneys will defend their legal maneuverings, especially their filings regarding people they don’t represent. I’d guess the Judge could be a little peeved by those, not to mention the difficulties that the plaintiff is causing during discovery, in a case that they brought forward after all.

It will be interesting to hear how they explain their involvement with people that they don’t represent to the court.
I checked a little while ago to see if an order if appearance had been submitted but there were no new filings.

I wonder also if the Judge might be less lenient regarding the contempt motions than he might have been, if JK and KK hadn’t asked to inconvenience the court for their convenience.
I suppose it will depend on the Judge’s temperament.

If the attorneys for LK do a lot of speaking on behalf of Mr. and Mrs. K do they risk some sort of ethics violation since they are not their clients or would a complaint have to come from LK?

Is it still a zoom meeting or now a courtroom appearance since mom & dad are out of the country and not represented anyway?
I think it would certainly be interesting to compare and contrast the behavior of this judge to the judge in the criminal trial.

I don’t know. I would guess that the Defense would object to it, if they can object in a motion hearing. I really don’t know the rules.

It was a Zoom meeting before Nagel asked for a postponement. JK and KK’s wishes or location were not being considered.

I should have specified zoom meeting. It still feels a bit like a court appearance if there are oral arguments to me. I was wondering how the different attorneys would present themselves.
I was wondering if LK has some type of conservator that they’re trying to keep hidden. It’s weird how these people are acting. I just saw again on YouTube LK crowing about “the tapes”. (An older comment). It would seem that JK/KK would’ve already lawyered up.

It’s very odd to ignore a subpoena. It’s even more odd not to attend or be represented at, via Zoom or otherwise, a motion hearing where a Judge will be deciding whether or not to hold them in contempt.

We have a store in our downtown that sells it - the real, official licensed one, not a knock off. And they have all the flavours! A small independent movie theatre here also sells it, but just the pineapple. Way better than popcorn!!!
