MB CIVIL SUIT UPDATE #10 K’s Request to Adjourn (delay) DENIED 11/01/22

Do I recall correctly that MB won’t even be considered for release (per the oh so biased Judge Taylor) until January? This is even though the guideline is 3 months reevaluate, not 5. Can nothing be done about Taylor not following the “rules”?

Thanks.

Of course, but will the State pay attention? It is a fact several complaints were filed months ago regarding Taylor’s behavior. Will those complaints disappear or be taken seriously? Even strangers posting on the YT chats indicated they were filing complaints based on his trial behavior.

Courts are closed on Election Day. November is what we used to affectionately call Civil Service Month with a minimal of 3 paid holidays: Election Day, Veterans Day and Thanksgiving with the day after Thanksgiving being a skeleton crew day unless you’re in Family Court. In Family Court it was order of protection day. Seems many families don’t just have turkey on Thanksgiving.

Interesting. That does not happen in my state. Courts are open as usual today.

All State offices are closed in many states and I’m guessing in NJ too. They also, like my states, go into winter recess between Xmas and New Years in the higher courts. So while the courts are technically open, the judges are off. The last year I worked we were forced to take 2 days off during that week and only 1 judge was in the court house each day for emergencies.

Location where the ticket was sold, from NYT, in case anyone lives in that area:

“The California Lottery said the “only winning” Powerball ticket was sold at Joe’s Service Center in Altadena, a gas station just north of Pasadena.”

I won exactly $0 :joy::sob:

It changed right after I originally posted. I looked this afternoon, saw the 2.2B, posted and it updated a few minutes later.

I wonder whether that’s what they had in mind when they started online sales. Hmmm. :thinking: :grinning:
