But in that case, why wasn’t the plausible alternative theory used in the criminal trial to negate the prosecutions case and get a straight NG verdict? That’s what I don’t understand.

Because Taylor didn’t allow it. He told the defense to stick ro one theory, or claim, and anything else he shut down. The defense had to build their defense around one theory.

So what was their alternative theory? That LK had stolen the gun from the safe? I don’t remember the defense providing any alternative theory.

I still do not get why a lawyer would ignore a subpoena until a contempt filing, and then continue to ignore it because Jonathan Kanarek (@Inigo-montoya) and KIrby Kanarek (@Seeker1) have not filed anything on these things at this point. Ignoring the fact that Jonathan Kanarek claimed on this very forum that he had answered and the lawyers somehow lost it. Oh, and per the responses it is clear that Jonathan Kanarek claimed to be willing to sit for a deposition. But heck, ignore all the other legal stuff going on.
I also do not get why Lauren Kanarek thinks it is OK to refuse to sit for a deposition in the case that she filed, in the place that she filed it.

VK did not return to HH in the summer of 2018 or 2019. MH did arrive sometime then. MH testified her relationship with MB started in I think 2015. You and KM said there was a girlfriend in between MH arriving and VK leaving. The very first thread Woman Shot at Barisone Farm said MB would tell women if a certain age he could get them on the Olympic team and it was not a complimentary comment.

MH testified MB paid VK the $965,000 that spring and couldn’t sleep at night worrying about paying bills. He had about 18 horses of his and MH’s as overhead that were sales horses.

LK paid him the board and the $40,000 for Jay-T.

I am not a member of the LK family. Outside of this forum, I do not know them. I do not and have not followed her on Facebook, instagram, YouTube, or anywhere else. I first learned her name after MB shot her. I am not friends of the family.

I am not a lawyer nor do I work for one.

I think MB and LK were a bad mix. I think MB was under a lot of stress with losing Vera, his wife, his business partner, the person who tolerated his extra-marital affairs, and took care of all the details so he could compete and hold clinics. I think he was worried about cash flow. I think his 8-9 concussions may have affected him greatly. I’ll let one of the amateur psychologists/psychiatrists explain what happens to sports stars with multiple concussions.

I believe the jury got it right that he shot LK twice and was insane at the time. I don’t believe LK drove MB crazy. He had enough on his plate to do so already.

I disagree with blaming victims.

I wish LK and MB well and hope they both continue to recover and rebuild their lives. I don’t expect it to be easy.

I don’t think so. There was one in quarantine that I don’t think she bought before. She came with 2, brought one with cellulitis, left one in NC, bought JT, then there was one in quarantine. I think I’m missing one.
