Numerous troubling things that I read in a very short amount of time. Here’s just one.
It seemed like the same plan was in place for the criminal trial, but to throw him in jail forever. That did not work out so well for them.

What would be the average cost to keep filing these things back and forth? Is it expensive for the client?
There’s a record of the court fees on the eCourt site (most motions seem to be $50, but no fees for the replies), but the real expense would be in the time required for the law office to prepare them, which would vary with the lawyer’s rate,

I was catching up on another court case I am following and was watching the testimony from the firearms expert who linked all the shell casings from all the homicide locations back to the guns the defendants had. The defense attorney only asked him one question which was could he tell who fired the gun. The guy answered no.
I hope if they have to retry this case in the civil trial that they are able to point out that there is no physical evidence who fired the gun. At least for me, this is a huge hole in the case and the reason why so many have thought of other possibiities of what could have happened.

I’m so far behind here, so please excuse me if this has already been asked. If JK is not paying for LK’s attorney, who is paying him? I wouldn’t think LK’s allowance from “her” account with the Bank of Dad would be sufficient for paying Nagel.

I’ll bet dollars to donuts that LK has an account for living expenses and another for bulk $$ items. Clearly she has access to funds and I imagine her monthly allowance has gone up now that she’s no longer able to suck MB dry.

Does anyone have a thought about if they area going to subpoena SAL, aka, Shelly Nelly Belly, who has indicated that she is in possession of something they gave her (JK?) when she went up to NJ to visit LK in the hospital? I would think they would want that very very much. But wouldn’t we have heard about such a thing by now if they were doing it, or are they trying to get their data from LK first, maybe, and other subpoenas will come later? And do they even know about SAL?

I have to agree. He does seem to have a wonderful set of attorneys.
How Lauren Kanarek makes a living will come up at the trial because to get lost wages one needs to prove they had wages to lose.

In addition to deletions, the post count also varies depending on how many posters you have on ignore (doesn’t count them). So a given post’s number can be different for everyone. The post number is good for your own self-reference to know where you are, but ends up pretty meaningless if you are trying to direct someone else to a specific post, because their count may be different.

He’s an employee of the firm that is listed there and is named as co-counsel with the owner, on various cases. He’s just using his employer’s real estate to practice on the side and his employer’s firm represents a few Polo-related businesses in the area.

OMG yes! I’d listened to some of the podcast and cannot even imagine how people can do such things.

Totally off topic but wouldn’t it be far cheaper to just get a pizza from a local “good Italian restaurant”?
I always thought pizza was the perfect thing after that long first day after trailering to a horse show. There, I made this post horse-related. 
And maybe we can take up a collection and send a stack of those pizzas to MB once he gets moved to Greystone. Surely the staff there would find a way to cook them. And now I’ve made the post germaine to this topic.

Actually, really authentically good pizza is so different from anything you’d get from most local ‘good Italian restaurants’. It’s so different that a frozen version of it is better than fresh from the best local pizza unless you live near an exceptional place.
I thought food/recipes/pets were germane to every topic on COTH, no?
