MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

There did seem to be a lot of personality shifts….

This is exactly what I was thinking. Maybe she was advised to walk back the apparent enjoyment she displayed in court. It was appalling.

I’m definitely not diagnosing anything but I have heard that personality disorders can run in families along gender lines. Just a thought.

I’m reminded of a saying that begins with “If it quacks like a duck…”

I have a question for the legal peeps. If a deposition for a case in nj is allowed remotely, would the attorneys have to have someone participate who is licensed in the actual state where the deposition was made? Are there legality concerns of the testimony since it did not occur in nj? (If it was actually allowed to occur out of state)

No. I’m involved in an upcoming deposition from another state which will be conducted remotely. I will not be in the same location as my attorney.

Interesting, thank you

My husband sat through a deposition for a medical malpractice suit. They asked him the same question 7 times and didn’t get the answer they wanted from him so they finally asked him “what he thought”. His answer was, “Well now that you asked for my thoughts, I think your client is a SOB for suing the doctor that saved his life.”

Oh Lauren (we know you’re reading this), it’s HIPAA. You’re nowhere near as smart as you think you are.

I thought the bestie said she was given copies to hold. LK certainly said she had given her copies to hold.

She absolutely did say that.

Not only that, she said explicitly that she had ‘seen’ and ‘heard’ the evidence, so she cannot claim to be merely holding them.

Yes, but what exactly was she given a copy of to hold? It could have been read as a conversation about a recording of the shooting.

I wonder how she’d feel about a subpoena?

48 hours: I can see that Morrisy guy asking LK about why she wouldn’t appear to her deposition hearings, and having her explain her concerns about covid, and how she’s especially vulnerable, etc. etc. and then he smiles and says “but you aren’t wearing a mask with me, right now. We’re 3 feet away. And you haven’t been wearing a mask around the set. You didn’t wear a mask here when we filmed last July.” Smile.

So the filings specifically request JK to turn over communications with RG. However, there aren’t any documents suggesting RG is in contempt of court. One might assume RG has complied and has turned over everything requested… :face_with_monocle:

I’m also on the fence with seeker’s identity. Who knows if it’s really KK. Regardless, LK has stated all over social media that the recordings exists and KK has transcribed them, so KK won’t be able to simply say, “that wasn’t me.”

Also laughable that JK/KK will attend Mb’s closed hearing. Yea, right. Sad attempt to appear in control.

I guess the bestie can be called as a witness about seeing and hearing the recordings.

Don’t think I’d like to be in the bestie’s shoes right about now! Especially with this screen shot out there.

It was all so funny to them back then, wasn’t it? Such smart little women playing games with others’ lives.

That reminds me, I need to make another donation to the fund that will see these folks held accountable.
