MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

Because it took me a while, I tried to see if I could show you how I do it.

Hold your finger down on the last word. Then you can spread the little highlighting thingy out. While it’s highlighted, ignore that Quote, and hit the Reply arrow. Your quote should appear in this typing window.

Thanks. The NJ court site certainly isn’t as complete as some other states’ court sites are. I thought the interrogatories might be listed separately in their entirety. Guess not.

Man, I am so used to just casually strolling through the court calendar to see who is in which courtroom every morning, and then clicking on a case and seeing everything. All with no log in. I think it makes me hate the website even more! But, it is better than nothing.

As a side note, interrogatories and other parts of discovery generally aren’t entered into the public record until trial unless there’s a dispute.

I think it’s kind that you are attempting to explain this to CH, but if you look at her post above this one, you see she can highlight text. If she can highlight, she can quote.

OK, I think that worked.

AmbitiousKate also had a method hitting the “quote” button.

I will use this to reduce overly long nested quotes, but I still like some context (within reason).

But thanks to both you and AmbitiousKate.

In light of the new SS/recordings/transcripts info from the filing……I’ll just leave this here…

Totally agree and it was the “Chef’s Kiss”

Ah yes, I remember these conversations with IM well. What a shame his gleeful predictions did not come to pass! Such a smug family!

The dispute is whether or not they recordings were legal or not. Since they haven’t been released to the public, until they are, none of us know if they even exist. They could be more of LK spouting off on SM.

If the recording device was in the locker and the court seems that to be a public area or in the pockets, say a phone or other, attached to LK and/or RG, then they are theoretically legal.

Thanks on more quote advice. I’m still having trouble but will keep trying.

I really appreciated your whole post. You make a very valid point here at the end. Kirby Kanarek has been subpoena’d for her transcripts. Jonathan has been subpoena’d for docs, conversations, texts, etc, re: said recordings.

Both parties ignored their respective subpoenas. Now personally, I will never, ever understand why they didn’t file Motions to Quash, because now they get to explain to the court why they chose to ignore said subpoenas.

But I digress. There may be some actual fear of answering because of what that means re: their involvement.

If you’re referring to my use of bold in my reply to Sdel, I’ve been creating bolding without highlighting all this time. Based on your statement, I now see that highlighting text is another way to create bolding. Or italics.

But I do now understand how to use highlighting to snip down a quote, thanks to Ekat and AmbitiousKate.

Personally, I believe the middle finger photo is such a grand example of Lauren Kanarek, the person. Screw everyone who ever gets in her way, either on sm or real life. She has always believed she is above all others and it seems she has been enabled to continue that belief. Just my unsolicited opinion from someone who actually knew her.

As far as her looking “frail”, she almost looks anorexic which I suspect is because she does not eat, whether due to her “medication” or whatever. It would be easy to have sympathy for her if she wasn’t such a vindictive woman who delights in destroying people. I genuinely look forward to all that might be revealed by the civil trials. The K family has many secrets for sure.

So you think that the personal conversations between MB and MHG, or MB and his lawyer, or between the working student’s mother and ?MB that were posted verbatim on SM were conducted in “public spaces”?

SMDH!

Legal minds: Summary Judgment. Any concerns or is it a given this will go forward?

I’m sure he didn’t either. I bet he was saving it for trial but sometimes when opportunity presents itself you just have to leap in with both feet.

If Lauren and her witnesses keep screwing around with discovery I can see SGF asking. I can also see Michael not necessarily wanting that.

Remember this is the family who took “I had a good life” to mean “Yeah that’s right I shot her and tried to kill her”.

Bc you choose to see LK in a different light then 99.9% of people and you agree with his description.
