MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

Her best buddy has them.

Actually that paragraph is what is discussed on these forums. You know, like people here say bad things about RG’s work on MB’s house (well some of that was testimony) but now RG is a master electrician, LK can’t make it to lessons but now she is a master spy.

What I remember Tarshis said was that what he saw online was shocking because it was so close to what they actually said that he believed it must have been recorded. He may be right.

I think that people were stressed out and leaning on friends and repeating things until it got back to RG and LK. Pure supposition on my part.

RG did record the conversation with ED and destroyed privilege but RG was in the room.

You can’t keep repeating things like LK sleeps all the time and can’t make it to lessons and then suddenly she is superwoman in great shape and be credible.

People posting here and talking about their drug use and then anything scary and dangerous and very difficult is possible? It’s just not a credible argument.

I liked Tarshis. He seemed like a very caring friend and I thought MB was blessed to have him as a friend.

Thank you. You just made my point to ekat. You can’t call someone things like a “40 year old addict” and then go on about how they can become master spies and install and retrieve listening devices without being caught.

Yes, you can. Are you honestly that naive? There are terrible people in this world.

Just because someone skips their riding lessons and/or sleeps a lot doesn’t mean that they are totally unhealthy or incapable of manipulating, wrongdoing, or straight up being a bad person. I mean really, that’s some poor logic and a very loosely drawn conclusion. It’s just not a credible argument.

What does this even mean?

Addicts and some types of mentally ill types (ie schizophrenics) are extremely paranoid and prone to making recordings spurred on by their hallucinations. Some even make recordings of nothing and the hallucination is what is “on the recording”….

That is not at all what I said not do I believe Tarshis acted unethically. I said I thought MB confided to MHG who confided to RC or JH etc until it got back to LK and RG. I said that I believed their was a pot stirrer one the barn because every barn has one. I never said Tarshis did this. Tarshis was training with someone else and not in the barn much and MB was his client and friend. Tarshis would not violate client confidentiality.

You clearly and fortunately (for you) have no experience with addicts.

But sleeping all the time and skipping lessons and being a no-show at shows WAS her living her normal, best life. That was her documented and provable reputation at more than one barn prior to the shooting. The YT videos had comments about her sleeping in Rob’s truck and how many cigarette burns were in the blanket she uses b/c she falls asleep while smoking. There are witnesses up and down the Eastern Seaboard to testify to these behaviours.

And all of that is prior to the shooting when she would not have described herself as either weak or a ‘superwoman’. That’s just who she is and how she rolls.

IOW, yes, it’s credible to say if she’s now riding 4 horses a day, showing, scratching at shows, napping a lot including at the courthouse, and missing lessons - it’s same same with life before the shooting. No change.

Now, if there are witnesses to her smoking post-shooting, Nagel’s going to have an even steeper climb to prove she fears travel to NJ due to her compromised lungs that she’s so worried about taking care of. Now THAT right there is the kind of contradiction you are looking to highlight. THAT is two things that simultaneously cancel each other out.

Well. You got me there. I’ll take your word for it. If accurate, I can’t imagine the circumstances by which you learned that and my condolences to you for having to live through that experience.

Yes you can. Why not? Addicts can be very functional. And they sleep alot. At some point, the drug doesn’t do alot for the person, as far as a “high” goes, the problems come when they don’t get their next fix, or when they try to have consistency and honesty in their lives.

They can hold jobs to some extent, until a day comes that they sleep through getting to work, or fall asleep on the job. They can ride horses and have conversations. They also don’t have the brain to reason, or rationalize beyond what makes them feel good. They have a drug brain, and they don’t plan beyond their next hit. They also lie to the ends of the earth, whatever covers themselves in the given moment. There’s nothing black and white about it, they are all different, but there’s no one way or another. Lauren displays all the characteristics of being an active current opiate addict, and it was out there for the world to see on Court TV in her court appearance. Its not unusual that you don’t see it. Addicts are really good at pulling the wool over the eyes of anyone more than willing to believe them. Until they don’t.

No one here is calling RG a master electrician except Kirby/Seeker. I did not know sticking a pocket voice recorder somewhere qualified as a master electrician. My poor dad, an actual master electrician, would be so disappointed to find out his lifetime of work, studies, keeping current on codes and licenses, could have been achieved by sticking a recorder in his pocket or a locker or an office. Or by a rock. (RG’s testimony).

I mean, we have joked about the ninja, but master spy? Again, that’s all you.

Perhaps you should go rewatch the trial again, starting with MHG, RC, JH, you know, the State’s witnesses, and listen carefully to them describing the tension on the farm, and how no one talked to Lauren. Then when you get to the defense witnesses, the testimony makes it even more clear. So no, no one was telling her their secrets.

It’s astounding how bad that was.

No one here has called her superwoman or said she was in great shape. Ninja, yes. Superwoman, no.

Drug use is scary, and dangerous and it makes people do scary and dangerous things, like burglary. Something one of the “victims” has on their very public arrest records.

Perhaps then you should stop implying he’s an unethical lawyer.

The similarities to this case are astounding….and it’s not the MB side it’s similar to.

Right?!

This would be funny if it wasn’t so delusional and manipulative (or at least attempting to manipulate the narrative). I mean, who ever heard of addicts who are capable of planning and executing crimes, amirite?!

I thought they both looked lovely, just that LK looked very pale and frail. Too thin.

40 year old drug addicts with drug history as long as Rob and Lauren Testified to can be some of the most dangerous people you meet. Most of them don’t have dad footing the bill for their lifestyle though.

Heck Rob testified to active use that summer. He called it slipping up a few times which is typical addict language.

Yeah, her name was Lauren Kanarek. In case you weren’t sure.

Keep trying to walk it back. That statement does not explain how Tarshis’s words ended up on the internet.

Thank you for pin pointing what is so weird about those photos. They are really not good but I couldn’t put my finger on why. You are right: amateur photo shopped so they have no noses and all around their eyes is super fuzzed out so eliminate any stray wrinkles. The teeth are weirdly white in a way that looks painted on the photo, too.

But nothing beats the no noses. It’s super creepy.

But fragile? Can’t you call it fragile? No. Its just bad photoshop.
