Yeah, old Bruce actually even looks the part of the brash, all-mouth-but-no-trousers, show-boating solo practitioner stereotype (though I realise he has a small firm now, he’s still true to that type). When I worked in BigLaw (an actual global top ten ), I worked on teams exclusively. Like, how would it even work if we didn’t have teams made of various levels of experience from partner to first year? Being mocked for that was not only weird (and mean and bizarre for someone both uneducated and unemployed to be doing), but betrayed a complete lack of understanding about how a law firm works.

Speaking of law firms and lawyers, it’s funny that on 48 Hours and the YouTube video here, JK is described as a ‘Wall St. attorney’ when it’s been proven several times and IM said, many people go to law school but don’t practice law. When did that morph into his being a ‘Wall St. attorney’?

I can’t imagine that you need millions of views on a single post to make $100 K annually which is a basic good professional income for fulltime work. Even at 20k subscribers you can get a nice addition to your income.

Does he seem to do this on a full-time basis? Or does he just address cases that interest him for whatever reason?

This one certainly seems like it could hit a sweet spot for him, based on his professional background.

I’m so annoyed with the “Wall Street Attorney” description.

He went to law school, then worked for EF Hutton in the 1980’s. But, by the 1990’s… there is no public information about what he has been up to professionally. None. Zip.

Successful Wall Street attorneys who have become multimillionaires in the process? Well… there is typically a public record of SOME sort that points to their professional history.

I’m wondering; what are your mental health credentials that entitles you to belittle and demean this man’s education and/or achievements?

Do you have a Ph.D in any mental health field from any university?

It appears 1 million people on YouTube enjoy him and have subscribed to his videos. How many views does your YT channel have?

According to USNews rankings, it is now 68th in the online bachelors program category, and tied for 299th out of 443 bachelors programs for national universities.

But Grande got his PhD there, not BA, in some aspect of counseling.

But if you think he’s an authority, please suggest him as an expert witness for the civil trial.

Dr Grande is interesting as an example of internet commentary from someone coming to the case with credentials in mental health, an interest in narcissist behavior, and experience in true crime reporting, but with no prior connection to the case. And he reaches the same conclusions about LK as has everyone except the Krifecta and a few outliers, trolls, or sock puppets.

As far as being a YouTube content producer, once you get up to a large subscriber base your income can be surprising. The ads that play before, after, and during a video are demographically targeted to the viewer but a cut of the ad revenue goes to the producer. Obviously there’s a complex formula involving subscribers, viewers, and audience engagement, all tracked. But YouTube producers who find a niche and get an audience can do very very well from this, quite in addition to any Patreon or pay per view or paid sponsors. At this level its not someone just ranting on random stuff.

I did feel there was one point, can’t remember what, that sounded like it was from a COTH discussion, but everythung else was clearly linked to court documents.

I don’t know why he wouldnt have cruised COTH, most YouTubers are very comfortable looking allover Reddit and Instagram and random blogs since that’s where their up to date research is. COTH threads on the topic have however become so clotted they could be hard to follow :).

Have you looked at his “credentials in mental health”?

I must interject. I have not gone back to double check it, but I believe Dr. Stache droned on for more like 30 minutes, or maybe even longer. Which felt more like an hour.
