Right there with you.
I read Uno and I thought - Darn, I used to know how to play that.
Not really. Honestly an email might be cheaper because it’s quicker to write an email than chat on the phone.
But, an email leaves a paper trail, even if it’s not a very good paper trail.
Thank you, I really appreciate you answering. Hope the doggo is improving.
Me too.
At the law firm where I used to work that would have been a power thing. My attorneys also used to return calls at lunch time knowing the people they were calling would be out and they wouldn’t have to actually talk to them. They played lots of power trip games with other attorneys.
Thank you! The old man says thank you too! He’s moving a lot better today. Yesterday he was quite medicated so I think he forgot that he did get to eat. Because he is acting like I’m trying to starve him. He says everybody should send treats! (He’s wrong.)
I’ve known a few like that. It’s very frustrating!
It’s my understanding Michael Barisone has not been moved to Greystone yet! Wasn’t the hearing two weeks ago? Is someone using their influence to delay the move to slow the process, as I believe was done for the entire Krol Hearing process?
Does this judicial system in Morris County ever act on behalf of the innocent or not guilty detainees or is everything punitive in that County?
Gosh, I have been accused of having influence with Dr Grande, shall I ask him to look into the delay?
Sounds more like “seize the pay.”
I wondered that myself. I was really looking forward to the episode, and then it was a nothing burger aside from the confirmation that LK did in fact accuse MB of abusing MHG’s kids.
I’m having flashbacks of when the Barisone threads would turn into the YD show every day. I shall refrain from responding but it’s hard to just let those lies stand.
wondering this as well.
Editing to clarify - I have changed my screen name. My request was put in earlier this year, but got lost in the shuffle. It just struck me that I should add an explanation that this change was not ala Jim E Stark.
As far as Dr Grande, he’s a representative example of producers with real life professional credentials who carve out a monetized niche on Youtube and get a large subscriber base by posting on timely, topical issues of public interest and proving their general accuracy on important details over time.
I also follow a couple of legitimate dermatologists who discuss affordable skin care knowledgably, computer hackers who show how online scams work, and a structural engineer who did a great series on the Miami tower collapse, and actually predicted the major findings of the investigation.
Such folks don’t need to have world class reputations to do good solid general interest commentary on their topic. They need to be able to communicate clearly on video, and develop and maintain a consistent posting schedule. In return they get a nice revenue stream. It’s a form of journalism.
Once 48 Hours did their season opener on LK she’s out there on the national True Crime radar, and that’s a huge audience. I figured she’d turn up in the True Crime world soon enough as the case has a lot of features folks find interesting.
And once True Crime commentators get ahold of the material that’s already in the public domain, especially the trial videos, you can’t stuff that cat back in the bag.
I would expect that Dr Grande is not going to be the only YouTube producer featuring LK.
Anyhow, Dr Grande is doing well enough for himself and doesn’t need my defense, but I thought I’d just step in to clarify what and where he is in the YouTube sense. Since some posters seemed unclear on the concept
The email was actually sent by Andrew O’Connor. And I think it is pretty interesting - and amusing - how nonchalant he seems to be about the whole thing.
“Give me a call when you get a chance.” If he was even halfway serious about something as serious as an ignored subpoena, he would pick up the phone and call Mr. D.
It almost makes me wonder if Esquire O’Connor is a bit over the K-Klan throwing their weight around at the firm - esp. when said firm apparently doesn’t even represent JK or KK.
Good point. Maybe it’s really Mr O’Connor angling to get in on that poker game!
I mean, that email doesn’t really prove Bruce’s point the way he wants it to, especially as it was sent after the response deadline, and would never fly in front of the judges here in my state, but, maybe that’s how NJ does things.
With how NJ does so many things, this would not surprise me one bit. Heck, evidence is over rated there, following Krol is optional… NJ is unique on all fronts.
It just occurred to me that Mr. O’Connor may also be a bit miffed about Nagel dumping the K’s on him.
“Hey, O’Connor. I just got asked what we are doing in regards to subpoenas to JK and KK. Shoot that Deininger guy an email and let him know that we need to talk to him.”
And question: Would Nagel have been notified by the court of the subpoenas to JK and KK? Or the Contempt of Court filings?
I’m having flashbacks of when the Barisone threads would turn into the YD show every day. I shall refrain from responding but it’s hard to just let those lies stand.
Ah, how I miss being told that I could not grasp the legal concepts of those threads… how dim I was/we were… how I was a MB fangirl… how extremely intelligent YD was and how she had to educate us in a very condescending way. Most of all, I miss the PMs where she told me how to post and if I could not manage that, not to post at all.
Good times, good times.
(Since it didn’t seem to want to embed, it’s a link to Somebody’s Watching Me music video)
Now I want in. Except I’d lose my butt.
I’m so bad at poker, I’m always doing the “wait, what is it when you have all of one suit?”
And question: Would Nagel have been notified by the court of the subpoenas to JK and KK? Or the Contempt of Court filings?
Yes, if you look at the pleadings themselves, you see everyone is noticed. For example, this is from the first page Mr Deininger’s Motion for Contempt for Kirby Kanarek.
