LOL this already happened to me…except he was horsey it was my farrier! Definitely helped pass the time for the horses getting done that day giving him all the run down hahah
I don’t think the majority opinion expressed on the forum is representative of the wider public. The 48 Hours episode took it as given that he got the gun out of the safe and that he shot her. The jury from the criminal trial was chosen from the local population with both sides able to make objections. And you think that the jury was not a representative sample of the public, but the group of posters her is?
They quoted Bilinkas explaining that the NGRI verdict meant that “he was not responsible for his conduct”. Bilinkas artfully declined to describe the nature of the “conduct” for which he was not legally responsible. I’m less delicate, so I’ll say it. He shot her. He shot her. He shot her.
The jury will probably get to hear MB testify in the civil trial, as he doesn’t have the right to refuse to testify without the jury holding it against him. In the criminal trial, he also had protections against prejudicial evidence coming into the record.
The criminal trial is OVER. Why is anyone rehashing this?
Unnecessary.
Everyone else in the thread is allowed to fight over minute details for thousands of posts…yet for some reason I ask ONE specific poster one small question which let me be clear did not involve you at all, and you’re trying to control my posting? Never seen you say this to anyone else in here so why single me out? I have not been rehashing anything in any of these threads previously.
Not cool.
The question was for @BigMama1 because I was curious about HER thoughts on the matter. Nothing to do with rehashing anything. Direct your frustrations elsewhere cause it ain’t me honey.
My boss and a coworker both advised in a team chat the other day that they are true crime junkies. I am so tempted to ask them if they saw the Barisone 48 Hours episode and ask their thoughts. But like you, I can’t figure out how to condense all the data into a short “elevator pitch.”
