MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

Sorry. I have another legal question. If MB is successful in the civil trial could MHG then file suit (I’m sure she’s not interested to do that) against LK for her damages? She was a victim as well. Maybe not to the extent of others but I could imagine she has experienced some injury.

With the caveat that I really have no idea how COVID played with the Statute of Limitations in NJ, I think it might be too late for her.

Ah. So she would have had to file prior. I’m sure that was the farthest thing from her mind at the time. Too bad (if indeed her time is up and she so wished to do so)

If I were her, I wouldn’t want to waste my time or money or energy. By all accounts, her riding is progressing well, she has kids, and other positive things happening. Lawsuits suck, and they suck the life out of you, even if you win.

Personally injury in my state has a SofL of 36 months from when injury was discovered or should have been discovered.

Other causes differ and the clock was affected by covid.

I totally agree. In my experience people who conduct themselves as LK does, do so bc they have nothing to lose. So winning a suit against her is just bragging rights at that point. Totally not worth it

If I were MHG I wouldn’t lift a finger to acknowledge LKs existence buch less spend my good money on taking her to court. I wouldn’t bat an eye in her direction.

I think I remember NJ was two years. My state is also two years and did nothing to extend or toll the SOL.

Ed Davis was called in by JK to handle the eviction. He had one meeting with the K family where RG secretly recorded them and then LK was shot and his job ended. He was not exactly happy to find out on the lead up to the trial that he’d been taped.

He is not the injury claim specialist who insulted the jury. That lawyer was not heard from at the trial.

I thought Sparrowette’s comment was in regard to the separate aggregate posting that is also being posted – I think to preserve history so the original posters cannot edit or delete.

Yeah, that was bad typing on my part. Sorry. ED is not Bruce Nagel. I do think we might see ED again as a witness though.

Very true. Perhaps others have a goal other than trying to bog down the thread and make it impossible to slog through it.

“was on the phone with her when she was shot twice.” There, fixed it for you.

The jury, who was in the room, and had nothing else to do but focus on the trial, believed MB shot her twice but was delusional at the time.

That is why he is about to have a Krol hearing.

Did they? Are you sure? How do you know, did you track them down and ask them personally?

You insist on returning to this past verdict and what you think it means BUT the focus is now on the Civil trial and IMHO how the current jury (when they are selected and sit to hear the trial) will find the 2 grifters dishonest and award accordingly.

And during the incident, don’t forget how many times Rosey bit MB. It wasn’t just a 110 woman with a cell phone and her sidekick.

Three against one. Rosey.
