MB Civil Trial: JK/KK Contempt of Court?

On the civil case, I thought someone said up thread that the judge had approved the extension on Jonathan and Kirby Kanarek’s contempt charges. Was that extension actually approved or was that simply a case of they have no doubt the judge will approve it?

She was verbally told much earlier as evidenced by her father negotiating moving to another place and even before that. An eviction notification may be made verbally. For normal people, they get it and leave.

Yeah, there was testimony she was told to leave in April. Normal people leave. They don’t plant hidden recorders and cameras, among other things. And when they get written notice,they don’t go see how they can bring inspectors out and get Michael booted instead. On his own property. Etc…

Yeah… she had ZERO intent of leaving. She was just playing 5D chess with all the lesser folk and was spouting off all over Facebook with glee…

I post at 5am frequently. Who knew that means something nefarious. I never would have guessed it would.

?? I also often post and read COTH in the wee hours. I did not realize that was suspicious. But it seems that posting at odd times… or spelling colour/neighbour/flavour etc. instead of color/neighbor/flavor etc. is “interesting” and perhaps a sign of something… nefarious?

Just catching up in a short break before I head back to wrestling with 3-string grass hay bales… but upthread it was mentioned that LK and RG were simply “in the wrong place at the wrong time” and MB would have had the exact same breakdown without those fine innocent folks being there…

Considering all of LK’s boasting and bragging about how she was dealing with MB all over SM and here on COTH… and all her antics revealed during the criminal trial… suggesting that the Not-So-Dynamic Duo were merely innocent bystanders as opposed to turning the screws and playing a sick little game is… interesting.

And part of that game was saying put when it was made very clear to them as far back as April that they should move…

It’s all so very nefarious and interesting with timings and spellings, almost like when LK was accusing @cutter99 of physically threatening her because of her screen name - which certainly couldn’t ever relate to her chosen equine discipline, it must mean that she’s got a big scary knife. There’s a few folk here reaching so hard that they must have almost pulled their arms out of their sockets to do so.

A counter or cross claim is part of the initial suit. He would have to bring his own action separately if he so wished.

It’s possible that only one part of a suit is dismissed with or without prejudice. If that’s the case the counter and cross claims could proceed.

How would him filing his own claim work with the statue if limitations? His counter claim was filed in a timely manner, but now that all this time has passed, if Lauren Kanarek manages to get her case tossed out will Michael be able to file his own claim?

Yeah, I don’t know why anyone thinks any trainer of any caliber will put up with no shows, chronic tardiness, seeming disinterest in training. No trainer has time to put up with wannabes at the expense of others needing their time.

Not only did she expect him to put up with her, Seeker tells us she expected to have 100% of his attention and be treated like his most important client, because that’s how she saw herself.

And, the sooper klassy middle finger pic is now immortalised in court filings. I love how the first section is just citing rules and case law as opposed to stomping his feet and giving unsupported opinions a la Nagel. Then the exhibits.

See - there’s a reason we were confused by that Notice re: requesting the protection order, other than the obvious that the Plaintiff just doesn’t do that. I know we kept saying Bruce had no supporting docs attached and it didn’t make sense.

Well, Mr Deininger kindly pointed that out for everyone before including the photos. Just awesome.

The jury, who was in the room, and had nothing else to do but focus on the trial, believed MB shot her twice but was delusional at the time.

That is why he is about to have a Krol hearing.

Pretty sure we are all aware of this. Are you aware that the civil jury will come to their own conclusions based on the evidence they hear, and that the criminal verdict is completely irrelevant here?

It would appear that horse people - who are known for routinely getting up at early hours such as 5am - are potentially doing something nefarious due to the hours they keep. They might even be doing something at that early hour with a (gasp!) shovel!

Oh my gosh. You are so very right. I did use a shovel this AM, it was even before 5am.
(Cleaned out some built up dirt and manure debris that was blocking the run off path thru the paddock.)

I am so glad I was able to snag that photo off the video of Dr. Schlessinger’s testimony and am happy to see it being reposted again and again. It was so classic - and my thought when I captured it from the video is that M. B was thinking, “Well, well well. What an interesting tidbit. The Doc just made my case for me, and he doesn’t even realize it!!”
