What I would like to know it, how can GAS actually say that there are no audio files? when this turns out to be untrue, a lie, actually, what happens to the lawyers to said that, then? How can there be transcripts of audio files but no audio files?

Discussing the fact that @Inigo-montoya Jonathan Kanarek was part of the finish the bastard plan as shown in the small amount of texts we can see so far caused that meltdown and distraction.
I do so wish he would have just told us why he thinks it is funny to make someone homeless.

Its been an eye opener to see just this one small snippet of texts by JK and fam. I have to say, I always thought JK was part of the FInish the Bastard plan, even figured he probably was the ringleader about it, but I have to say I never thought he was so careless as to leave such outright proof out there - I guess I thought he’d be smarter than his daughter about implicating himself, but it may well be that the whole fam damly is so proud of themselves that they just don’t stop to cover their tracks when they abuse people and make plans to do it. Lauren certainly doesn’t, and we saw how Kirby is unable to stop herself from writing, then personally signing, her own version, pretty much, about what she’s been up to, as far as destroying Michael Barisone, and now Daddio on the Patio, here he is, texting away, giggling about how to ruin a man, whom I still believe had himself more to do with the shooting, in some manner, than has yet been revealed.
I can’t imagine what more facts will be revealed, which he spear-headed, when the rest of the texts are exposed. Actually, I can imagine, and its fun imagining, but getting the proof from these texts is especially satisfying.
He thinks its funny that they would be homeless? He thinks they should plan to destroy Barisone’s property?
All in writing.
And now they’ve decided to just “say” that there are no audio recordings? Haven’t they already filed references to these audio recordings, indicating that there are transcripts which should be good enough, or something? Haven’t they said in court that they made audio recordings? How do they just get to say there are no audio recordings?

Interesting. My grandfather kept his purple heart from WW1 in a cigar box. He lost his right arm in the battle of the Argonne Forest in France. He also never spoke of it.
Sidenote: Although originally right-handed, he passed his driving test to drive left-handed. Can’t tell you how many hair-raising rides we had in his 1950 Studebaker, going up the old, twisty Kern River Canyon road. He would let go of the wheel on turns to move his hand and use his knee to temporarily hold the wheel. He was a speed demon, too.

It might be possible with one of the expensive new saddles with the very soft leather that wears out in a heartbeat.
The older saddles with the tougher leather would take a very long time to chew.

This confuses me too. I mean, they reference the tapes and bugs all over the place. They brag about them and how they are weaponizing them right there in the texts. The recordings were admitted to, while under oath at the criminal trial.
Now GAS is trying to say ‘oh yes, just kidding all along, there are no recordings, ignore those 81 recordings that came to you in evidence from the prosecution of the criminal trial, ignore the fact that my client says there are others, so not true, there are no recordings’.
I do not get how a lawyer can do that. I do not get how the courts let a lawyer do that.

Bon Jovi is also related to Frank Sinatra. Frank was a great uncle on his father’s side of the family.
Bon Jovi refers to Sinatra in his song It’s My Life, which is one of my favorites. That family has talent all up and down the tree.

The only logical conclusion I can think of is GAS has not invested any time in investigating anything and goes by what the Kanareks tell him. He may have been told this was another slam-dunk and an easy payday. IDK, but it is peculiar. Many things in this entire case are peculiar.

He has been representing them for a bit now. I should hope either he or some staff of his, has looked thru some of the materials at this point.
I don’t think he can use the excuse that he is new and has not had time to learn the case to say things that are just so blatantly incorrect.
If he is unable to take the time to understand the case he has taken on then maybe he should not take the case.

If the KKlan are all in Florida, he may do his consulting over the phone, picks up the phone and says, we have to get to the bottom of these recordings, what do you have, what recordings did you make, you need to tell me, so I can come out ahead of them…"
And the answer the Ks give right then and there? They lie. “Oh, we have no recordings. We just made it all up, we were kidding.”
So he believes them. Having done no research of his own.

I think we should give a big shout out to the Execitive Editor of The Chronicle of the Horse, Beth Rasin, for handling what must be a nightmare these threads have caused for her and her staff monitoring, receiving threatening phone calls, and responding to subpoenas.
The Chronicle of the Horse has been a valued publication in the equestrian world for as long as I can remember, and the forums have been a treasure trove of information for so many. The Barisone threads have been valuable for discussion and attempts to understand what happened the summer of 2019 at Hawthorne Hill.

Didn’t Schellhorn even talk about the recordings? Didn’t RB talk about recordings in the trial? Didn’t JK and LK even have a conversation with ED or some attorney about how they’ve been recording, and he asks “You’re not recording THIS conversation, are you?” and in fact they were?
There’s no back pedalling on the recordings thing now, is there? I mean, IS THERE?

I know…silly me… but… I have always thought that the Kanarek family was at least mainly honest with their lawyer. Sure, I doubt Jonathan Kanarek (@Inigo-montoya) admits to the lawyer that he was front and center in the plan to finish the bastard. But it is hard for me imagine someone thinking their lawyer can do their job if they are not at least honest about something that there is so much proof about, even ignoring them posting about them all over social media. In the text conversations between them they have no reason to lie about their recordings and what they are going to do with them.

I believe ED testified about the recordings during the trial.
I wonder how long ED was actually their lawyer? I’m guessing not very long, if he was just brought into it a couple of days before August 7th.
But he still had to testify in the trial years later, and continues to be a topic of discussion after all this time.
