Michael Barisone/Lauren Kanarek Civil Suit

May I ask where are you found the transcripts from the trial?

I think it would be far preferable to read the transcripts than to actually watch those videos again.

There were portions included in the exhibits to Deininger’s filing.

Is there any indication they sent in the audio to safe sport? Or did they just send in their “transcript,” figuring that safe sport would swallow it hook, line, and sinker?

Is it possible the safe sport report was really only against MHG, so she would get suspended alone, leaving MB available to train LK? :woman_shrugging:

@MHM if you go to the first post in this thread, the document you want to open is this one.

The partial transcript starts on page 62 of that document.

It was either a riding helmet or a saddle. Either way it was pretty unpalatable. I’ll have to look back. But hopefully people weren’t lying or embellishing social media about their poor gastronomic decisions

I don’t know the answer to that question.

The way SafeSport was leveraged in this whole mess? It’s really concerning. I’m very pro SafeSport in terms of its mission… there needs to be some sort of accountability when it comes to predators in sport. But… I’m curious as to what actually happened back in 2019 when both MB and MHG lodged a complaint regarding LK, and LK lodged a complaint regarding them. How did SafeSport evaluate the incoming information? What were the criteria they considered before deciding contacting the local DCF was the best first course of action? What will the actual penalties be… if anything… for a blatant weaponization (by LK) of their reporting and investigative process?

I’ll bet you will wish you had tried it sooner. :+1:

I agree with your POV somewhat. Many questions with that process in this messy situation.

If everyone made use of the ignore function not only would the conversation be much more productive, I’m sure Mod1 would appreciate it too

For the criminal manner in which this particular weaponization was orchestrated, I hope it’s a permanent ban.

Well you know when you keep clucking at a horse and clucking at the horse and the poor horse tries to appease the human but can’t figure out what the heck they are clucking about, the horse tends to ignore you.

Here you go!

I find that to be very interesting, just because I’ve always had the impression that anything involving safe sport is supposed to be kept extremely confidential by that organization.

Maybe it’s treated differently if they feel like the material is false.

I have the same question. Apologies if it’s already been answered.

Was the audio manipulated or edited during transcription? Was recorded dialog interspersed with comments written contemporaneously? For example: “At the 3:46 mark a murder plot is discussed when MGH tells MB ___________________.” So, in essence, the transcription cherry picks snippets of audio to fit a desired narrative.

Do we even truly know that audio files were transcribed and sent to SS? Or was that yet another blustery bluff from the KKrew, and the report to SS consisted only of LK making a phone call?

Mr Deininger has made reference to the confidential nature, and I’m sure that is why he redacts the heck out of it, only showing the “transcript”.
