Michael Barisone/Lauren Kanarek Civil Suit

Well, he’s the one who keeps the target on his back by posting here and sending nastigrams to trainers. They seem to love attention.

It will almost certainly be videoed. Transcript comes later so it can be entered at trial.

I’m very late to the party here, trying to catch up. But, MHM - you can tell sea lions from seals quickly by noticing that sea lions have little ears (external flaps) whereas, seals do not - they just have a hole where their ears are.

What is the VIP tent at Global about? Uninformed, here

Video depositions seem to be pretty powerful, moreover than just a transcript. The Johnny Depp trial was pretty revealing. I haven’t done any, out of trial practice too soon!

It’s just the table seating the opposes the general admission stands at the international arena for CDIs. Usually where owners, trainers, owners friends etc can be found passing in and out in CDI weeks.

I imagine that it’s envisioned as quite the place to see and be seen, at least by some people.

It’s a big tent with tables and chairs near the main ring. Wine, beer and food is served/available. Tables are reserved for sponsors usually.

Video can be used to great effect especially if you have someone whose behavior on the stand at trial wholly contradicts their behavior at deposition.

Lance Armstrong’s deposition is a good one, from his civil suit for prize money won while doping.

Why would TheY even be at that show to begin with, much less creeping the VIP tent? Lauren doesn’t even show up to shows she’s registered to ride in.

How can a person watch a deposition? Are they made public in some manner?

I try to always sit VIP in these situations because the perspective is invaluable. Not that I often go.

Maybe you can share a table with the Kanarek family. That will save them from having to approach you one at a time to tell you their story.

Silly woman. I might be the one engaging THEM. Chatting it up. Why? Purely curiosity.

I would pay good money to be a fly on the table.

Do you have to present A ticket to get in, or just to sit at a table?

Steven Tarshis has a horse that came in third I think at forth level. Sorry I didn’t pay much attention.

For fun you can watch the event here as well as check out the seating options.

He’s also not licensed to practice in NJ.

Ahh the global top 5 firm where she gets right through to an attorney, not a clerk or a paralegal. I’m sure we’ll see one of the partners from that firm replace GAS soon.

I don’t know if she ever specified which attorney told her (incorrectly) about privilege, but she sure did want to argue with the legal people here about it.

Or was he trying to corner various BNTs and convince them to take LK as a client?
