Is there an actual definition for “Big Name Trainer (BNT)” we can add to the thread dictionary?

The judges know who they are and judge you more favorably?

I’m not sure if it means charges more for lessons, swaggers, has many, many accomplishments, knows someone who knows someone, has a horse, knows the letters of a dressage ring, has won local, regional, national or international awards, has a foreign last name, is male, is there really a definition?

This has been stated more than once by LK, with at least one of them being under oath, as a reason why she needs the BNT.

There was never anything stopping her from going to a BNT. Alll she had to do is pay their fee. A thing easier done with 1 or 2 horses.
The only thing stopping her is HER.
All the subsequent drama was unnecessary. If MB wasn’t a good fit, find someone else who is. Easy peasy.

From what she posted as LaughingLina, it seems LK still is training with Ulf, who is a genuine BNT. Her current trainer is “back up,” until Ulf returns to the US.

True, LK’s posts, by any name, are as exaggerated and ambiguous, bordering on untruths, as others in her family. “Always a kernel of truth” must be their motto. The key is what the actual kernel of truth is in each statement!!

So if the hearing took place yesterday, how likely is it that we will see something posted about the upshot of that hearing?

The fact is, it doesn’t matter who she is training with. What matters is that she is not only able to resume her pre-shooting level of activity, she claims to be riding more and performing even better now. So difficult to claim her injuries have prevented her from enjoying her equestrian pursuits.

It’s unlikely we will ever see anything more than the status conference was completed unless something is referenced in a future filing.
