Michael/ Lauren civil trial update February 9

:joy:

Considering the plaintiff herself had to be compelled by the court to answer her interrogatories, I’m guessing MB and his lawyers might do better than that.

If it weren’t so pathetically sad, the actions of the Kanareks and their representatives are comical.

Me thinks GAS is not up to date on everything.

This made me laugh.

NINTH AFFIRMATIVE OEFENSE

violated any law, statute or regulation

Didn’t the plaintiff (though she wasn’t the plaintiff at that time) also have to be compelled to appear at the criminal trial as well or something along those lines?

That is what SGF alleged in this pleading:

Hang on my computer keeps attaching the wrong doc and I can’t figure out why.

Sweet Sandal wearing Jesus. Go figure?!

Right I get that part, but I figured they included that specific wording for insurance reasons. That’s common language used to deny claims.

It’s common language in any tort, whether or not insurance is involved.

Heather Hill is back and up to the same old antics. There is a whole new thread about it, I think in Off Course.

Yes, I’ve been reading it when time and energy permit.

Did someone on this thread or a previous one mention that RG had been out of sight lately? Maybe he has been waiting for the other Louboutin to drop for a while.

Wouldn’t they have to pay GAS $500 an hour to watch the trial, or whatever his going rate is for his professional services? It doesn’t seem like JK would be too keen on that idea, after he was so determined to get a bargain on the board and training in New Jersey.

Also, GAS is already annoying me for having those initials, which make me think of a gas station, not a lawyer. Lol.

One has to think about such things when giving out names. Anyone remember Ima Hogg from their school age history lessons?

I don’t recall that one. Maybe I was out that day. Lol.

It was so bad that it stuck in my head all these years….

But by all accounts she was a wonderful philanthropist.

It depends on their fee arrangement. Is it on contingency? Or…some other agreement? Plus, maybe curiosity will get to him and he wants to see how his client holds up under oath.

I like GAS’s initials. They’re easy to remember!

Wow. I would certainly hope that someone with the brains to get through law school would not be foolish enough to enter into any sort of contingency arrangement with this crowd. But I guess you never know.

I am 12.

GAS brings to mind for me, passing gas, full of gas, bubble guts.

Sorry

I’m worse. I already have a nickname in my head and it rhymes with Bart.

I’m not sorry though.

That was my first thought too.

I do wonder who/what GAS is trying to imply in that statement about indispensable party.
So many options.
None of them make the Kanarek Klan look good.

I really do feel for Robert Guy Goodwin/Jim E Stark/Superman, because my gut feeling is that the Kanarek’s and GAS are totally throwing him under the bus.
