Blah blah blah blah, I have 34 years experience working in Administrative Law, woooooopppppieeeeee. I am not an attorney. I work closely with attorneys, Administrative Law Judges, paralegals, law clerks, I interact with Superior Court, Business Court and other court personnel. I have also interacted with State Legislators and their personal. I have been in included in conversations in interpreting General Statues, my input is taken seriously. I also know when I have absolutely nothing to add because I know I am no expert.
The point of the above, is I have a pretty dog gone good BS meter. I have had plenty of experience dealing with and determining the difference between a good attorney from a not so good attorney. Honestly to me, it is pretty black and white.
We are extremely lucky here in our little world of COTH to have several, in my view, extremely good attorneys taking time out of their extremely busy schedules to help us understand the complex variations of the law.
We have also had some not so good attorneys show up here.
The law is complex and really should not be interpreted by the average person. For every statue or rule sited, there are corresponding laws and rules that need to be read as well.
You can say that grass is green, but then you need to find out why it is green and what colors mix to get green, historical content of green and possibility what shade of green. Reading one law is not the complete reading of that one law.
Ok self promotion done. And another apology for misreading.
