Another question….if LK and RG were shacked up in some hotel, where were the horses and who was taking care of them?

Didn’t LK’s horses end up staying at MB’s farm for some time after the events of August 7? Under the care of MB’s staff?

Even though LK had been proclaiming far and wide before that date that she was so concerned about the welfare and safety of her horses while they were on that property?

I don’t know how long. I think RC promised JK she would look after them.

It was posted somewhere on these threads that LK was not permitted in the Kanarek family home in Livingston. I don’t know whether that’s anecdotal or who the source was, but it absolutely has been stated on these threads previously.

There was some conjecture that it was related to a theft at the house; but as LK was neither charged or convicted in that theft, that maybe be coincidental.

However, when you have someone with known addiction issues, a history of arrest, a theft of jewelry at the family home, and subsequent banning from the family home, it’s not hard to draw some inferences.

Remember the old axiom, similar to Occam’s Razor, about medical diagnoses? If you hear hoofbeats outside your window, the most likely candidate for owner of the hooves is a horse, not a zebra.

Yes. Yes, I absolutely know know that it has been stated as fact that LK is not permitted to stay in her parents house in NJ. It has become a COTH fact (definition: a statement believed just because it has been stated enough times on COTH, even though no evidence has been provided).

Every time I’ve seen that statement, I’ve thought ‘How would @Soandso know that?

This time I asked.

I’ll ask again: for who ever claims to have started this rumor, how would you be in a position to know that?

Occam’s razor. The purpose of the mob is to smear and bash LK. This explains why posters here would claim her parents don’t allow her to stay at their home.

Shall we drop the tired claim unless the source comes forward?

When I get an apology from LK and her parents then I may consider it. Though it’s not likely.

But as it is now, NO.

LK threatened me. More than once. I was insulted, chastised and my profession belittled by a jobless grifter and her family. I owe her reputation NOTHING.

I return in kind what was given me.

I’m betting it’s the same for many people here. I’m chosing to believe the assertions in the legal document filed.

No one knew that until later that the weapon was RC’s. Even RC didn’t know at first. RC testified she had a hope it was some other gun but when she heard the serial number she knew.

Not a phone call. He testified they were in MB’s office and/or the clubhouse outside the office.

What kind of game are you playing here? You KNEW it was in the court filings, and you decided to play “Where did that accusation come from?” and characterize it as a “rumor?”

Did you think someone on this thread won’t know exactly where it was from and post it?

Clearly you haven’t been paying attention to the skills of the frequent posters on the board.

I’ll ask again: for who ever claims to have started this rumor, how would you be in a position to know that?

If you knew it was in the filings, is this an honest or forthright way to have a conversation?

I do remember LK talking about the kind of conversations MB did have with his lawyer and that they were not privileged. That went poof quite some time ago…

Off topic, today’s open house had a scarier bathroom than the shag pink carpet house. (It sold) The upstairs bathrooms were completely remodeled and nice. There was a scary bathroom in the basement made out of the cinder blocks. Cobwebs AND an electrical outlet right below the showerhead. That way you could plug in your hair dryer while standing in the wet shower.

The more they argue the facts the deeper and darker the hole they dig for the Kanareks. They keep arguing facts that most of us have forgot or don’t think about - and then BAM! It’s back! But the thing is, I don’t necessarily buy the mob’s story that her parents threatened MB to force him to let her stay in the farmhouse, etc.

When things escalated extremely in late July, early August, I can imagine the parents tried to help avoid a crisis on behalf of LK but that’s again an extreme situation like the shooting itself, not like a normal training situation as @Virginia_Horse_Mom was referencing.

I disagree. Being unhappy with your training arrangements for your luxury sport pets is not a crisis. Any 40 year old woman who has acquired 5 horses (I say acquired even though she did not fund them) should have the wherewithal to be able to make her own boarding arrangements and leave when the situation is not to her liking. Not have daddy dearest come fight her battles for her and bully people of her behalf.
