Sure. The motion can be filed anyway. You just have to file with supporting law, or I guess if you had no objection from any other party that would work for the convenience angle. However, given that MB is in state custody in NJ and physically could not travel to Florida even if he wanted to, I would guess that a change of venue is a no go, even if jurisdiction is proper because he owns property in Florida. He would have to be transferred to the custody of the state of FL - a much bigger ask than moving venue.

As for why LK stayed in a hotel after she was discharged from the hospital instead of with her parents -
could be that RG is the one not allowed and she wouldn’t leave him. Or because RG didn’t want to stay there because it might interfere with his - uh - recreation. Or her parents wouldn’t allow Rosie in the home. Or because LK wanted to be closer to where her horses were. Or maybe all the above.

If the hospital was in Morristown, that’s only a 20 minute or so drive to Livingston. Strange to use that short distance as a reason to need to stay closer to medical care. I don’t recall, or care, if I ever knew what town the ******** hotel was in (I say ********* hotel because LK has said many times on SM that she only stays in many starred hotels) but I wonder how far it was from the medical center, Livingston, as well as Hawthorne Hill?

In Morristown there are no 5* hotels. Best bet is a Hilton or Hilton Garden Inn. The big fancy hotels like The Waldorf Astoria are in Manhattan.
My best guess is the Motel thing was just inflating where they were judging by the furnishings in the pic I saw. For sure I’ve stayed at a nicer Embassy Suites in Denver.

Yeah, that hotel room didn’t look like anything more than a 3* motel. Nothing at all wrong with that, so why make such a big deal about it I wonder?

There is a 4 star The Westin but look how close it is to Livingston. So I’m calling that LK statement a lie.
According to the hotel the nice new rooms were renovated in 2019, right before covid.

Yeah, I also recall a FB post saying she had to send RG to Walmart of all places to get her some clothes that would fit - a sweat shirt and pants as I recall. Certainly no big deal but simply another indication at how her living conditions had suffered per her. Remember when she posted that the first time she went back to the farm after the incident, she saw blood still on the ground? That must have been some amazing blood Michael left to have still been there almost a month later! Remember, her clothing showed zero blood stains. Always embellishing!

Which court filing? Dieningers answer to the civil suit? I’ve forgotten most of that if I ever read it.

Circling back to the Kanarek parents and their support or lack thereof. Many of us here have adult children of approximately the same age as LK. The majority of us can say our children are fine, upstanding contributors to society who obey social norms and lead productive lives without our financial support. Can you imagine having an adult child with such issues that you feel compelled to be the muscle behind any unobtained wants, to the point of threatening and buying off people to make the child happy? Can you imagine enabling that child’s behavior?
Imagine hoping your retirement years would be spent playing with grandchildren, living a well earned respite from work, yet are compelled to be drawn into such despicable actions, hell, perhaps even co-conspired to plan the destruction of other human beings!!! I very seriously don’t get it, and I’ve tried to comprehend how these people can justify their actions. In today’s society this poor behavior is more common than we believed. Shameful on every single count. Karma is champing at her bit. I promise. The universe demands balance, always.

Yeah, but she said they were all too big (understandable). I thought RG and JK picked up lots of clothing and “personal items” the next day when they stormed the compound!
