Michael/ Lauren civil trial update February 9

If you’re wearing a sweatshirt you’re not looking to wear fitted clothes. In fact oversized sweatshirts or shirts are rather posh on small gals.

OK, this is backing up a long way, but I had to post it after all the difficulties a while back regarding logging on to the court website.

Speaking of which. Does anyone have a link to the site to look up the arrest records in New Jersey?

The MB civil suit against the police was filed by Christopher Deininger. Before the case was dismissed by a judge, it was amended not once but twice in order to correct typos and change the legal basis of the suit. So I don’t consider Christopher Deininger a “thorough and careful attorney”.

The suit was dismissed before getting into the truth of any of Deininger’s 177 allegations. I think the suit itself was a travesty and I would be ashamed to have filed it. It’s likely that among his 177 allegations there are others I don’t believe just because MBs lawyer alleges them.

I think MBs civil suit was filed in fall 2021, so if there is no mention of the ‘LK not being allowed to stay in the parents home’ in these threads prior to fall 2021, then I agree it probably originated there.

But if the claim has been bandied about in the two years prior to the suit, then it can’t be that the claim originated in Deininger’s suit.

It’s known that MB contacted people known to have had SM feuds with LK, like GirlJoey, and hired a private detective to dig up dirt to include in the file to USEF shortly before the shooting.

Whoever the original source was who whispered in Deininger’s ear, I have to wonder how they would know something private that was between LK and her parents.

So weird because just earlier today you chastised those who speculate and wonder.

Yet now it’s apparently ok when you do it.

And btw if typos were a thing that discredited attorneys you should have called out LKs previous attorney loads more.

Thanks!

Wondering is fine. Wondering is good.

Just don’t state your wonderings as facts.

Example: I wonder if LK stayed in a hotel because her parents refused to offer to let her stay at the family home.

Example: I wonder if LK stayed in a hotel because she did not want to inconvenience her parents with the extra work of two houseguests, and didn’t want her parents hovering over her.

What makes you assume it was something private between LK and her parents? Since you don’t have any inside information and all, clearly you have no basis to make that assumption. And given how prolific LK is on social media and how many personal details she so willingly overshares, the most logical source of the information is LK herself, not someone “whispering” in her lawyer’s ear. Such an odd and personal phrase for you to use. Why are you so deeply invested?

See @BigMama1 can ask that @CurrentlyHorseless because she’s wondering…

None of the FB screenshotters and archivists have posted or even claimed that, that I’ve seen.

I’ve only seen it asserted by Deininger in the ridiculous (for other reasons) civil suit and on COTH.

If the assertion appeared on COTH before the civil suit was filed, he may have picked it up here.

Unless it came from something LK posted, I’m not inclined to believe it. I’m on good terms with my parents, but find staying with them in close quarters 24 hours a day, what word should I use, stressful? If money were no object, I’d prefer a nice hotel.

Yet you say you believed IM without question.

No, I did not say I believe IM without question!

I do believe IM more than I believe Christopher Deininger.

Thank you for posting this screen shot of @Inigo-montoya’s (Jonathan Kanarek) post.

The last paragraph makes me scratch my head.

It seems to me if the prosecution at the criminal trial had any evidence of someone else doing that list of things to Michael before the shooting that they would have brought that up for the jury. So weird that Jonathan Kanarek would say something like that when it was not true… I guess he was caught in yet one more lie. Just like Jonathan Kanarek saying he wanted to cooperate with discovery in the civil trial.

Goodness, it sure appears that IM enjoyed replying to my posts. Bless his heart. KM and I really seemed to ruffle his tail feathers with our posts. His responses have not aged well, have they?

CH reminds me so much of another poster who almost constantly demanded receipts for information posted. Yet when she and CH have been asked to produce facts, they deflect.

As far as Chris Deininger’s facts and intelligence, I’ll put my $$ on him and Bilinkas all day long. Come to think of it, I have!

Are you serious?

IM is saying that MHG was the one harassing and tormenting MB. Duh.

Why on earth would the prosecution bring that up in the criminal trial?

???

What have a stated as fact that you would like receipts on, @eggbutt?

I thought JK was over seas in the weeks before the shooting….so how would he know something like that? Not by any personal knowledge….

Well, several of us would like to know more about the police report you said you’d seen or read or referred to many, many posts ago. You fell over yourself back peddling over that doozie!
