FYI, A legal assistant, or litigation assistant, may perform administrative duties as well as legal tasks. A paralegal focuses more on legal duties and research to assist lawyers . Both positions require an understanding of legal terminology and procedures. Therefore, they are legal professionals.

Guinea pig tangent.
I remember being in some feed store and seeing a little miniature bale of hay for guinea pigs and the like.
I was flabbergasted at the price of it. Compared to a full-size bale, the math was just insane!

And a good one is priceless. Paralegals in the private firms can command a 6-figure salary. Those folks that spent their careers in municipal or state, or federal government, get a breadth of knowledge not seen in the private firms. Although the pay is not as good, the experience is, well, priceless. I, for one, find the denigrating of a whole field of work, calling it puffery, insulting, arrogant and beyond rude.
And, moving a case from one jurisdiction to another is hardly unheard of. However, the court in the new jurisdiction would have to interpret the law of the first. Some folks don’t know what that means. But legal professionals do.

How amazing. It sure seems logical if the video that is presumed to be, or was , in the hands of the Kanareks showing Michael Barisone shot Lauren Shay Kanarek, they would have produced it years ago!

I just want to say that my paralegals are the absolute best. They’re better versed in many routine areas of law than I am, because that is their job. Love them all dearly and I’m off to order some Crumbl for the crew tomorrow since I sometimes forget that there are people out there who think they’re not “legal professionals.”

The hole dug was so deep - and the descent into it so rapid - that Buttercup’s disappearance into the Fire Swamp’s lightning sand pales in comparison. Even Humperdinck would agree it was a step too far. A shift change may indeed be forthcoming.

Sometimes I think it’s either jealousy, insecurity, or a feeling of inadequacy, or maybe all 3 of those things that make others feel the need to denigrate a whole field of professionals. I think that LK used to do this too. I get that people have their opinions and lack class, but come on. Just because you(g) don’t want to recognize a group of hard working and qualified individuals as legal professionals doesn’t mean that they aren’t. I have no idea how a paralegal or clerk/vacuumer isn’t and legal professional. 
At this point (well, for awhile now) some posters are just saying things to get a rise out of people.

Yes. A thousand times YES.
Some flavors change every week. You use a tablet to order and your incredible cookies are handed over in a pink box.
I am grateful that the two Crumbls near me are a decent drive away (in opposite directions) - for now. But I noticed an empty space in the local outdoor mall being renovated and it seems to have a lot of… PINK. I may be doomed.

I also did not know what it was - or that there is one on the Upper East Side - but what I find most strange is the #crumblreviews thing on TikTok. Tens of thousands of likes on videos of people reviewing the rotating flavors. And all the videos are of the same four cookies each week. I’m gettin’ old.
