Why should SGF read “riding forums”? Not everyone who competes reads the forums as well as every topic.
Prior to the shooting, weren’t the posts mostly on FB. SGF is supposed to read every boarder’s FB posts?

The recent silence of a couple of prolific posters made me very suspicious that something was going on, so I am not surprised at Stone’s recent filings. (Unless the silence of one particular poster was because he had been muzzled for some reason - perhaps even a “cease and desist” letter from CD).
And given the language in the documents (EX: “Given his murderous conduct…”), I would also not be surprised to learn that Stone didn’t draft those documents himself, nor had his own paralegals do them. IOW, they were drafted by another party (someone looking to save on legal fees), and Stone filed them without doing much more than a cursory look-see. If that is the case, I don’t have much more respect for him than I did for Nagel.
And yes, I assume the decisions scheduled for 2/17 will now be pushed back again.

Or maybe GAS is simply believing Lauren Kanarek and his not clients (Jonathan Kanarek @Inigo-montoya and Kirby Kanarek @Seeker1) since he has not had time to get thru the mountains of evidence yet.
Do you also wonder if the lawyers feel embarrassed after they realize how filled with lies their filing was?

Which makes the language suspect in another way. “Murderous intent”. The fixation on CotH. Discovery is harassment.

“Murderous Intent” sounds like a good competition name for Lauren’s next horse. I can hear the announcer now. “Coming into the arena is Lauren Kanarek, with Murderous Intent!”

I haven’t read through all of Stone’s new filings, but the little bit I have seen make one thing very clear: they are trying very, very hard to convince this new judge that MB is a violent predator, a maniac, “a murderer who got away with it.” And in so doing, deflect the judge from considering LK’s role as the catalyst to the whole thing. They are also doubling down on trying to pin the blame and responsibility on SGF - and as certain other posters telegraphed again and again, trying to force a hefty settlement offer from SGF’s liability insurance carrier.
So nothing has changed, despite the new attorney - who still (to our knowledge) does not represent JK or KK, yet is oddly filing motions on their behalf just like BN.
I am starting to think they could develop an entire course in law school about the weirdness surrounding this one case.

Well, we also now have a collateral estoppel claim about the criminal verdict. It seems that the drafter wants to overlook the fact that since Barisone was insane at the time of the shooting, he was so because of Lauren’s behavior……
Familiar……I guess we now know why the K’s are stalking the forum and the endless arguments. Still trying to figure out how to spin this so Lauren Kanarek, Kirby Kanarek, and Jonathan Kanarek can win $$ and come out without smelling.

But it goes with all the other unpleasant things about LK and her ilk.
This is so NOT going the way she, RG and Daddio on the Patio planned.
I am a HUGE believer in karma, and that what you put out comes back to you 10 fold. I wouldn’t want to be anywhere near any of them when karmic retribution hits.

That…was a terrible set of filings. Factually inaccurate and now they’re saying that SGF’s subpoena requests imply they believe LK deserved to be shot? Yikes.

The lawyer also downgraded RG back to boyfriend status, instead of fiancé, as they tried to claim at the time.

Wasn’t MB’s case against the police dismissed on the basis that they did not have a duty to do anything? Even though that was their job?
With that logic, I don’t see how that SGF could be held responsible. It certainly was not their job.
