Legal People, I have a question. At the last Krol hearing it was reported that the judge was concerned that MB might interact with LK either in the horse world or through the civil suit and may not be capable of handling it.
If my understanding is correct, the danger has to be in the immediate future.
Can his attorneys argue that even if released, in the immediate future, the safesport sanction would likely prevent any interaction within the horse world. Plus he would be able to have the recommended individual therapy which would help him to deal with any other possible interaction including the civil trial.
How can the judge argue anything else?
Hmmm…wonder where that idea came from? The thinly veiled assertions from the latest filing?
Ok, whatever is on those recordings must be really damning against LK! Like they have to be pretty earth shatteringly bad to go to these lengths with two different attorneys. These recordings can’t be nothing burgers, why fight so hard for witnesses, unless it’s going to sink the case? If the info is there, just produce it again, which is eye rolling annoying but whatevs.
The recordings must be gold for MB. That’s all I can think of why they are fighting so hard.
Especially because I seem to recall GAS say that they were willing to sit in a deposition and answer questions about them, just that it was too horrible of a request to ask them to duplicate hard copies.
I imagine that wasn’t an honest response, but just trying to avoid turning Jonathan Kanarek into a liar on the forum.
Maybe the Kanareks should have thought about this before LK decided to file a civil suit??? Just maybe??? 
Just another rhetorical question- how many friggin’ times do people need to have it explained to them that “silence is golden” in relationship to law suits??? Even when they graduated from law school???
The Kanareks puts this all out there. They have no one to blame but themselves!
You just know GAS is going to be sued for malpractice if the judge rules against the kanareks, either on the discovery or on a spoliation finding.

If the judge uses the responses written out in GAS motion, it gives the Ks an additional 30 days to comply if it isn’t quashed.
One would think that Barisone’s friends/supporters in the Wellington area, particularly those who show, ride, have their own facilities, go to all the normal activities that Michael Barisone would routinely be seen at, would have seen Lauren Shay Kanarek out and about, particularly since this is “the season”. Yet, I haven’t heard anyone say they’ve seen her anywhere Michael would normally be himself and I know quite a few riders there for the season. So, the fear that he is going to “run into her” during his normal day is malarkey. Should there be any potential for an encounter, I can almost guarantee it will be initiated by Lauren Shay Kanarek or Robert Guy Goodwin, hence the predicted tight security around Michael 24/7…to protect him from them!

Just a question here. Has it ever been discussed whether LK’s sisters either lurk here or post under alters? I mean, LK and her parents have been here and posted. I find it hard to believe that the sisters would be indifferent to the threads here about MB and LK, despite the fact that COTH is just a teeny, tiny, little piece of the much bigger horsey world. After all, at least one sister participated in the middle finger salutes with LK and many of us saw.
I’m pretty sure that there hasn’t been a post where someone has outed herself as LK’s sister. However, like any of us here, any poster can say that they have no direct connection, that they are not part of the KK’s circle, that they are not a close friend or confidant, that they are not related to the KK. But what’s to say that one or both of the sisters have not been here under alters and are lying, as we have witnessed the rest of the Klan doing?

I think that has crossed a lot of our minds, especially after the more recent threads. And there are also the claims that Lauren Kanarek maintains a number of alternative accounts for Facebook and YT.
Quite frankly, it makes sense to me, considering the use of social media to try to destroy Barisone and attacking others. On social media, perception is a numbers game….and the level of investment on defaming Michael’s character in all manner of insignificant and silly ways is stunning.
Because the months and months and months they have already had is just not long enough.
But heck, how long would it take Kirby Kanarek (@Seeker1) to send those transcripts to some place to hurt Michael?
It is so confusing to someone with a brain that functions like an honest human to understand how Kirby Kanarek and Lauren Kanarek can scream all over the internet that they are sending transcripts everywhere and the transcripts are so amazing and all that but when they are asked for in the civil suit that they brought it is suddenly proclaimed that they are too burdensome.

Did MB actually file eviction documents in Landlord-Tenant Court? I thought he had not yet filed those documents (apparently in hopes that she was going to willingly leave, esp. after receiving notification from Tarshis). Am I misremembering?
Edited to add that I misread the filing and was thinking it was an eviction proceeding against LK.
