omg, a new way to jump, under the horse…
Solid ride from the Hungarian - until she dropped him dead in front of the oxer and came off.
my live feed (BBC) is way behind? it is still the Mex rider leaving the ring…
Ridiculous and shameful.
Chloe Esposito of AUS had a nice go on a saintly 18 year old chestnut.

Donna Vikalis of CAN with a refusal at the first fence. And now she’s off at the combination.
BBC announcer is noting in her bio that she states she rides 2x a month but spends time on a daily basis on the other disciplines and has just said he sees no point to that, says a shame to wreck it all by not practicing one’s riding. [/QUOTE]
Donna is a very good rider with a strong background with horses.
She rides 2x/month currently because it’s what her schedule allows. She’s in a PhD program and pays her way with teaching and architectural gigs. She lives in a city. She loves to ride, says she’d ride every day if she could, and she will rearrange her schedule in a heartbeat if it means she can go to a camp or clinic and ride 2x/day. She was out here not long ago for a solid week of riding and to compete at a local jumper show on a borrowed horse. She did very well.
Why do people think it’s OK to bring their babies to these events? Every event in this arena has been marred by wailing.
The Mexican rider looks scared out of her wits.
And today’s gold medal for bestest horse (BBC “he’s a star”) is the lovely lovely paint who saved the 2nd Italian’s butt.
Melanie MCCann of CAN with a great ride and an unlucky final fence down. BBC: “lady that obviously knows what she’s doing, well done.”
The coloured horse is a pentathlon veteran. He’s done many competitions.
I’d like to ride him.
Can someone provide the BBC link? I can’t find it anywhere and the lack of commentary on NBC is boring.
HOoray for Natalya Coyle from IRL! 2 fences down but a lovely strong ride and BBC noted her extensive PC background!

beware that the feed may be 10 minutes behind tv feed.
That Ukranian girl could ride! Jumped the last jump without her stirrup. The riders are getting better in the top competitors. First clear round.
oh the Russian… spurring and hitting the horse and 6 refusals? not the horse’s fault…
Smart cautious ride from the Chinese rider on Cruising Boy, taking her time and letting this big honest grey take care of her.
Gutsy ride by the Egyptian Aya Medeny - she kept that big grey together pretty well.
Good for the Egyptian woman. Not pretty, but persistent.
Good job for Mhairi Spece from GB on arguably a tougher ride on that big grey who was getting stronger and stronger throughout.
Chen Quian very balanced rider.
