jvanrens, I am not a Standardbred person. So perhaps you can explain to me why it took until after the STOP MONICA THORS Facebook page blew up, for Standardbred powers that be to “reach out” to their contacts in state government? 
It is an honest question. Not an attack.
The venue was the issue.
Had this taken place at Dr. Richardson’s U of Penn…no one would have blinked.
Thistoo, my impression is they may not have known about it until it blew up on social media and they started getting calls and emails.
TTSP–how would anyone from the STB Owners & Breeders have known anything about this before it showed up on the news the other day?
And, laserRob, at least Dr. Richardson has painkillers he can administer, knows when a horse has had enough and has shown he can, and will, euthanize when it is called for! There is no parallel to draw here–venue or otherwise.

Well, if you had any credibility before that is out the window. WTF are you alluding to, that she was “helping” these horses? To equate the abuse levied on these animals to any sort of medical treatment is absurd.

Perhaps the STB peeps, like many of us, figured the NJSPCA were actually doing their job! Lesson learned… Nothing you can do until the horses are seized lawfully…

I don’t know a damn thing about her except she mutilates her animals to the point they need euthanized and has charges pressed against her for animal cruelty finally. And she sure as hell isn’t a vet and what she is doing is not therapeutic.
