Iām really confused by the news report and by the facebook page (at one point the facebook page owner appears to be saying that she was going to breastfeed baby mice but the cats ate them? I justā¦I donāt know what to say to that). So is the allegation that she is laming these horses by improper trimming? Or feeding? Orā¦?

I did, but Iām having trouble putting together whatās actually going on from the facebook page, since one of the statuses by the owner of the page is:

Soā¦she trims the horses strangely and it appears that she puts some sort of strange contraption on the bottom of their feet, and she de-claws the cats? No doubt some of the horses are in pain but Iām just really confused as to what she is claiming to be doing (?) vs. what is actually happening.
And before anyone jumps down my throat, Iām not saying she doesnāt need to be stopped, my rational brain just is having a bit of trouble putting together what I am seeing, which just looks likeā¦insanity.
What I read:
She trims horses until their feet bleed.
She takes away the soles of the feet until the horse can no longer stand.
The horses become so lame they can not even stand up. She winches them and continues to trim their feet until bleeding.
She screams mental health. The pictures are horrifying.
If you have looked at the photos and video and the news report you will see a horse so crippled by daily filing/dremeling (sp) that one horse requires a sling to stand. She is obsessed with the feet and is continually at them. Three have died in the last year and her response is the glue from glue on shoes did it. Vets and farriers have tried to get her to stop.
The cats are also rescues from what I understand. Google her and you will see lawsuits with a former farm that evicted her. She is mentally ill and needs help but the horses and other animals are first priority.
Watch the news report it will bring you up to speed but it is disturbing.
Oh my god that is grotesque. Iāve just written my dad who is in NJ politics, to see if he can pull some political levers.

I had the same struggle figure out just WTH is going on there. Near as I can tell from the photos, she files off as much of the hoof sole and wall as she possibly can, producing TINY, narrow little feet that the horse canāt even stand on. The pictures are so disturbing and odd looking that itās hard to tell whatās even happening in them. Like this oneā¦look at the coronary band and where the bulbs of the heel should be and itās apparent and scary how much hoof has been removed.
And she smiles for the camera while doing it.

It looks possible in that photo that the hoof capsule has sloughed.
Apparently the feet became infected from glue on shoes. Several horses died from the infections. She knows it happens but keeps doing it. I also read on that site she has a race sponsor who pays her 100k a month. No idea whether that is true.

She also showed the I-Team a horse with bandages around his hooves. The horse required the support of a sling to stand up for long and struggled to even walk.

Yeah, but if you go through the other pics, most of the feet look fairly normal, until they get wrapped with theā¦shoeā¦itās a circular thing? on the foot. If you click to open the pic of the horse thatās down with the goat with the blanket standing next to it you can see lots of pictures of her trimming what appear to be quite normal feetā¦and then you have the pic that you shared.
If she did actually cause that foot and that wasnāt a byproduct of something else then that is really awful. The bathing of the cats and the trimming of the whiskers allegation is just weird. As was the nursing of the baby mice and letting them loose for the cats to eat. I canāt even find that post any more, but it was justā¦weird.
The writing backwardsā¦she sounds like she must have mental health issues. Hopefully someone can get the animals (and her) help!

The vast majority of her photos are of her trimming trimming trimming and trimming her horseās feet some more. Sometimes the horses are laying down as they are trimmed - unable to stand
This is not from glue on shoes. Glue on shoes do not do this. Iāve asked the admin on the SMT fb page to pin the facts to the top. It has evolved rapidly so I think they have had trouble keeping up. All the feet are wrapped because of the butchering. The chestnut on the video looks like the tb mare listed on her personal website., the others are stb. Today after the sh*t hit the fan she is now stating the horse who is at least 5 has contracted tendons. She is ill no one who is mentally intact would do this and think itās something to smile about.
Appsolute that horse in the āsuccessā photo is the horse in the sling in the news report I believe.
I think it could be from the glue if she was trying to glue to open wound/live tissue. I can not imagine the pain those horses must be going through. There are fates worse than death, apparently being an animal in her care is one of them.
All of this seems very twisted.
