I would squeal if Gus had a little hard hat!

@BatCoach Don’t forget Milo takes sea lion impersonations pretty seriously too!

I must say that the Rubenqsue feline who doubles as a seal/sealoin is my mature problem child cat, Whetabix.

He and Milo have a similar pattern, but Wheatabix is smaller and has a pink nose. Milo is 10 years younger and larger-framed with a dark nose sploot and white tail-ring. If I wanted to really split hair, Wheatabix is a dilute blue with tabby and Milo’s patches are solid blue. Those details aside, I have a matched pair of cow cats.

In his younger days, Wheatabix was a stunning pumpkin patch model.

I have no photos yet, but my niece’s youngest daughter has finally moved into her first apartment on her own. Having been brought up with cats since birth, she is ready for her first. She was going to adopt one that needed a home, but a friend has a cat with kittens, (how it happened IDK they are involved with pet spaying facilities,) She picked up the girls and decided the names would be Midge and Mazel!

Oh I love him in the straw hat, he looks like a wise farmer surveying his fields.

He’s the best little guy. We found him in a ditch a few years ago in really rough shape. He was about 3 weeks old and had a horribly infected eye. We honestly thought he’d lose it but he was too young and unstable at the time for surgery. He bounced back and has become a little spitfire. He’s painfully attached to our old lady shepherd. We had him quarantined in the garage and he managed to claw his way through the pen and somehow open the door and we found him curled up in her neck. He still snugs up with her any chance he gets.

Hilda snuggled right up to my German shepherd when I first brought her home as a 7 week old kitten, too. Greta was raised by cats and seemed to prefer their company to other dogs.

How sweet. Ours is very similar. She was always in a mixed house, but she is much more gentle and calculated than the other dogs. She’s very nurturing by nature so she’s always looked after our cats. Gus chose her, though. He’s very possessive of her. I don’t think Gus knows he’s a cat - pretty sure he thinks he’s a dog. He’s the boy who was raised by wolves.

& Judging from the photobomb schnozz, you’re not doing it right!

He’s always micromanaging. I much prefer the Siamese’s (in the basket) management approach.

The look on his face tells me you paid for this later when your guard was down.

@$#$%^#^&%^ Not sure if this is accessible, but it is my niece’s daughter’s new kittens. Names are Mazel and Midge. I think the grey one is Midge. If this doesn’t come thru, I will delete.
