Surgery is Monday. I am having mini- panic attacks that he will not have a bladder, but I know the surgery provides the best chance for cure. I know he will do great. He’s an overachiever after all.
So funny that in 5-6 months we went from “hmmm, something is a bit peculiar here” to “it’s bladder cancer” to “you need 12 weeks of chemo and your bladder removed- here, pick from these lovely urinary diversions”.

I will be off work for 4 weeks starting Monday. I am not sure what I will do with myself for that amount of time. I haven’t not worked for this long of a stretch since summer of 1995!!

You probably need the rest from all the emotional stress. That is a lot to deal with.

Thanks everyone. I went to my cousins wedding yesterday and that was lovely. So good to see much of my family I haven’t seen in a while.
Leaving soon for the hotel by the hospital as we have to be there bright and early. Was hoping the Packers could give him a win today but no such luck!
