Need manly barn name for white horse.

Sorry to bore you guys with another naming post. But how do I come up with a manly enough name for a white thoroughbred? I think his registered name is White Tie Affair. Arctic Blue x Splashed. I haven’t met him just yet but he will be here in May. Snowball, frosty, stuff like that just won’t cut it. He’s my next eventer. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m171/arcticcielo/whitecolt_zpsrxigz02n.jpg

I’m so bad at naming. I’d probably call him Ty or Taylor or something like that. His JC name is not bad so that would be his show name. I just wouldn’t overly focus on his color. Have fun with him!

I’m hoping that when he gets here I can name him off his personality. I am terrible at naming, I’ve had Grey Mare for 5 years now lol.

I will definitely use his registered name as his show name. The only registered name I changed for show is a gelding I have who is Susan’s Ex. His show name is Cruze Bey. Barn name Cruze. And he got named on the way to his first show because we were behind a Cruze car.

I think I would call him ‘Ty’ or ‘Tyler’ too.
I like his JC name and am glad you will be using it as his show name.
Good luck with him.

Titan

Tyson

Tiger

I like Titan. I like to go to Greek mythology names when in doubt. Argo is a good Power name.

Mr. White, a la Breaking Bad, or Reservoir Dogs.

I know a lot of people are weird about naming animals with “people” names, but with the exception of Neigh (who came with that name) and my old dog (who I named as a dramatic teenager) all my animals have or have had people names (Ralph, Vernon, Paco, Toby, Stella, Ricky, Bobby, and so on).I’d give him a nice manly name. James comes to mind, because when I think “white tie affair” I either think fo Fred Astaire or James Bond.

How about Bond, James Bond, cuz Bond always looks dashing in his white tie

Doctor or Professor?

Tux (edo)

Thor

My white gelding came with a awkward mouthful show name. Shortly after he arrived, he looked me in the eye and said " my name is George". And he was very George Peppard-ish, so I kept it!

Joe works for any color horse.

My BO had a gelding named Barbie - the first thing he said to everyone when got it was “Don’t tell Barb.” (Barb was his wife.)

Zeus!!

What, Snowball isn’t manly enough for you? I also like “Ty” or “Tyler” as it’s related to his JC name.

The Lone Ranger’s white horse was “Silver”

The Lone Ranger’s last name was Reid. I like the name Reid

The Lone Ranger’s best friend was “Kemosabe”

My best names have come to me when I don’t over think them.

My new filly was born on 7/24/15, her registered name is Amat Victoria Curam (Victory Loves Preparation). The first few minutes after she was born I just started calling her Tory. It stuck and I personally think it is a better horse barn name than Vicki:)

Congratulations, he’s very pretty. I would call him Tyler and like his registered name.

White with “White Tie Affair, Arctic Blue x Splashed”?

Sailor, of course.

How about Sterling? As in Sterling Silver.
