New Article on Cesar Parra Controversy

There is one very well known rider/trainer who had an article written about them not too long ago on COTH and it garnered a lot of negativity. The comments on the article were not incindiary. Rather, they were mostly references to the egotistical tone of the article and how people thought it was insulting to amateur riders and innappropriate. The person who the article was about went to the trouble of doing some sleuthing and posted the real life names of the people who had responded to the article.

Needless to say, the mods shut that one down very quickly and erased the private information.
Personally, I think it is extremely creepy to go to the trouble of digging people’s personal information up and posting it.

I don’t know who the OP is, who sweston is, or what ponypappy did. And I don’t care. This kind of play, IMO, is way, way too rough for this forum. I, for one, won’t stay if this kind of threat becomes par of the course here. I behave pretty cleaning on-line and IRL. But I won’t post somewhere that might mean I offend someone with a hair trigger and get my off-line life screwed up in a huge way.

Mods, I’d like to understand why some of my comments were deleted in their entirety when they did not contain inappropriate commentary and jabs, yet other comments with jabs and such have been left in the thread? Someone here complained in this thread about a threat they received about being “outed” by another COTH member. I then stated that a well known rider had outed numerous people who responded negatively about an article on COTH even though the comments were not incindiary? I then made a nice comment about how the mods took care of the issue and removed the personal information. What is the issue with that? If the issue was the “threat” that I quoted, why not just remove the quote and not my comment?

Just in case you missed it, sweston made multiple personal threats against me. Including but not limited to searching me out, destroying me, making me their pet project and the collection of name calling that grows hair on you back. But I wouldn’t expect anything less from that Parra camp. But don’t worry I have a screen shot.

Here you go again, screwing up facts… First, i did not “multiple personal threats against” you, I simply told you it was time to be quite and stop make up lies, or else i will also play that game and do the same thing you are doing. Guess its not fun when the shoe is on the other foot!

Second, I have nothing to do with Cesar Parra. I have meet him twice i think, but i have no involvement in his business, his life or anything else. I, like the rest of this forum (and I’m guessing anyone who has ever known you), am just sick and tired of your rambling lies and smear campaign.

SnicklefritzG, we removed some posts that were in direct response to other posts that had been removed or edited, in a general clean-up effort to return the thread to the main topic. Just because a post was edited or removed doesn’t necessarily mean that the poster did something “wrong” – it may just be related to a tangent or issue we’re trying to address.
