Already starting to figure out how they like it. Because power is out, the fence is not energized and them being so new on the property I’d rather be safe than sorry so they’re in. I hung their bags on opposite ends of the run in, as historically the Old Man is a prick about food.
The Old Man, a total chow hound, is not eating. He’s staring at Shayney on the opposite side, just sssttaarrriiinnnggg at her. Ok, fine. I moved the hay nets and now both of them are eating better, just chowing down on the same net. He’s gotten soft in his old age
He was also more than willing to share his grain with her this morning. Weird, for him!!
Also. I groomed them both this morning, and worked on walking them just out of sight from one another and then bringing them back. It went well. Also also - I groomed my horses on my own property in my own barn in the grooming stall that I designed with crossties that I made with brushes in my fancy built in shelf. Ahhhhhh!!
